Undoped and Sb-doped SnO2 films∼ 100nm thick have been deposited by electron beam evaporation fro... more Undoped and Sb-doped SnO2 films∼ 100nm thick have been deposited by electron beam evaporation from bulk samples prepared using sintering technique. Either undoped or Sb-doped SnO2 films are nearly amorphous, resistive and transparent. With increasing Sb content, the resistivity slightly decreases and then increases with further addition of Sb, which acts as donor and/or acceptor impurity atom in the SnO2 lattice, respectively.

One potassium cation is seven-coordinated by six sulfonyl O atoms and one water molecule, whereas the other is surrounded by six water O atoms and two sulfonyl O atoms. In the crystal structure, the components are connected into polymeric sheets in the bc plane.

Intramolecular C-HN and C-HO hydrogen bonds occur. In the crystal, intermolecular O-HO, O-HS, C-HS and SS [3.5546 (18) A] interactions result in an infinite three-dimensional network.

The coordinated Schiff base uses its indole NH donor site to form a hydrogen bond to the negatively charged phenolate O atom of the uncoordinated zwitterionic Schiff base. There is an intramolecular N-HO hydrogen bond in the coordinated and uncoordinated Schiff bases.

ITO films were deposited on glass substrates by an electron beam evaporation technique at room temperature from bulk samples, with different thicknesses. The film with 1500 Å thick was selected to perform annealing in the temperature range of 200–400 C and annealing for varying times from 15 to 120 min at 400 C.

In each molecule, the Cu II ion is five-coordinated in a distorted square-pyramidal geometry wherein the basal plane is defined by the N, N′, N"-tridentate Schiff base and one N-bound thiocyanate ligand. The second N-donor thiocyanate group, located at the apical site, completes the coordination environment.

The effects of the thickness and heat treatment of the CdO layer on the structural, optical and electrical properties of ITO films were carried out. It was found that the CdO layer with a thickness of 25 nm results in an optimum transmittance of 70% in the visible region and an optimum resistivity of 5.1× 10− 3 cm at room temperature.

Groups 1 and 2 were orally administered with Tween 20 (10% v/v). Group 3 was orally administered with 20 mg/kg omeprazole (10% Tween 20). Groups 4–7 received 10, 20, 40, and 80 mg/kg of the complex (10% Tween 20), respectively.

Its preventive effect on ulcer activity induced by absolute ethanol in Sprague–Dawley rats was studied invivo. Gastric ulcers were induced in rats by administrating absolute ethanol.

Abstract Six organotin (IV) complexes,[RmSnCl2-m (BAS)], where Rm= Me2 (2), nBu2 (3), Ph2 (4), Me... more Abstract Six organotin (IV) complexes,[RmSnCl2-m (BAS)], where Rm= Me2 (2), nBu2 (3), Ph2 (4), Me (5), nBu (6) and Ph (7) have been synthesized by direct reaction of organotin (IV) halide (s) with benzoylacetone isonicotinylhydrazone ligand [(H2BAS),(1)] with the presence of KOH in 1: 2: 1 (ligand: base: metal) mole ratio in absolute methanol. The hydrazone ligand [(H2BAS),(1)] and its organotin (IV) complexes (2-7) have been characterized by elemental analyses, UV-Visible, IR and 1H NMR spectral studies.

The present study was performed to evaluate, the acute toxicity and anti-ulcer activity of this BIHC against ethanol-induced gastric ulcer. Experimental animal groups were orally pre-treated with different doses of BIHC (50, 100, 200 and 400 mg/kg) in 10% Tween 20 solution (vehicle). Normal and ulcer control groups were pre-treated with vehicle.

To improve the optical and electrical properties of these films, the effect of annealing temperature and time were taken into consideration for Zn1− x CdxO film with x= 0. 2.
