Immerse yourself in an immersive gaming experience where every vibration counts, where every pulse becomes a crucial piece of the puzzle. Welcome to "Blind Sight", a virtual reality game that redefines how you interact with your virtue environment!
In a mysterious and enigmatic universe, two players are bound by fate. The first, equipped with his virtual reality headset, finds himself immersed in a world full of puzzles and challenges. The second, on his personal computer, assumes the role of observer and strategist: he must be able to find the clues necessary for the advance of his companion and link his discoveries.

This game was made in 30 hours as part of the Laval Virtual 2024 Hackathon whose main theme was "XR Accessibility". Our team second theme was "Performance and Dynamic Adaptation".
XR Accessibility :
- Haptic feedback, which is the main mechanics of the game, allows an immersive experience accessible to all players, including those who may have visual limitations. Instead of relying solely on graphics or visuals to guide players, the game uses tactile sensations to provide crucial clues and clues. This makes the game more inclusive for visually impaired or blind people, as there is no excessive dependence on visual elements
- The asymmetrical gameplay of the game, where one player uses a virtual reality headset while the other player interacts from a PC, offers flexibility in the game modes. This allows players to choose the means of play that best suits their preferences or accessibility needs. For example, a person who has difficulty using a virtual reality headset can still enjoy the game while playing from a PC
Performance and Dynamic Adaptation :
- Although the levels are not adaptable, the game is designed so that the difficulty of the puzzles gradually increases
- As a result, our game offers a variety of puzzles. This allows players to experience new types of challenges at each level, providing a diverse and challenging gaming experience
