Vanillaquest

Vanillaquest is a lightweight pen-and-paper fantasy RPG adapted with permission from Ben Milton's Knave and Jason Tocci's Grave, featuring:

• Quick and easy character creation to allow players to jump right into playing
• Lightweight rules prioritizing meaningful choices over bookkeeping
• Fast-paced, lethal combat with a focus on open-ended maneuvers rather than long lists of specific powers
• Procedures for overland travel and dungeon crawling

This system was designed to suit my needs for casual OSR campaigns and introducing new players to TTRPGs; it shines with a GM experienced in making on-the-fly rulings.

While the PDF provides a physical character sheet, online campaigns can use this google docs character sheet.
