Frances Kellar
Dr. Frances Kellar is a scholar-practitioner with research interests in beginning teacher development and the intersection of educational leadership and organizational change. Her research centers on examining the psychosocial, sociocultural, and organizational learning factors that influence leaders' efforts in cultivating organizational change. Passionate about promoting organizational change through strategic inquiry, she serves as the Director of New Teacher Support at Alliance College Ready Public Schools, the largest regional charter management organization in Los Angeles, comprised of 25 free, public charter high schools and middle schools serving more than 13,000 in the greater Los Angeles area. Dr. Kellar is also an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Southern California where she teaches research methods in the Organizational Change & Leadership Ed.D. Program at the Rossier School of Education. Dr. Kellar holds a BA in English and World Literature from Pitzer College, a MA in Education from Claremont Graduate University, and an EdD from the University of Southern California with concentrations in Educational Psychology and K-12 Leadership in Urban School Settings.
