The KIB in Batch Project

KIB in Batch Home

KIB in Batch is a lightweight Unix-like environment for Microsoft Windows.

Why Use KIB?

KIB in Batch brings the power of Unix tools to Windows without the bloat. Whether you're a developer who needs familiar command-line tools, a system administrator managing Windows servers, or someone who prefers Unix workflows, KIB offers a streamlined solution.

Unlike heavier alternatives like Cygwin or WSL, KIB is designed to be fast, lightweight, and easy to install. It integrates seamlessly with your Windows environment while giving you access to essential Unix utilities and a powerful package manager. Perfect for quick setups, portable installations, or environments where you need Unix-like tools without a full Linux subsystem.
