Alfred Tsai
Alfred Tsai is a junior career diplomat currently serving as section officer at the Department of East Asian and Pacific Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of China (Taiwan). He formerly worked for the American Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan and Kuomintang Chinese Nationalist Party. Alfred received his Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Johns Hopkins University, and Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Columbia University, where he studied economics and political science. He previously attended National Taiwan University as a visiting student and graduated from Stuyvesant High School in New York. In his free time, Alfred edits the Taiwan Weekly online newsletter for the Fair Winds Foundation, participates in the Young Council for Industrial and Commercial Development, and volunteers with the Buddhist Tzu Chi Charity Foundation.
