About the Role & Program:

Disney Corporate Creative Resources (DCCR) is a multi-disciplinary creative agency that provides creative services and solutions to a broad array of functional areas within The Walt Disney Company. As one of the key disciplines within DCCR, the corporate special events team provides corporate and business unit clients with turn-key event support for live events, conferences, virtual shows, and more. 

This position reports to Sr Producer, Special Events.  This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Glendale, CA area from January 2026-June 2026.

What You Will Do:
 

You’ll support onsite at events, help run virtual events to run without a hitch and partner with producers and project managers to keep projects moving and organized.  Help estimate budgets, track spending, and reconcile costs and sit in on production meetings and capture detailed notes.  You’ll have the chance to own parts of projects from kickoff to wrap-up.  You’ll play an integral role in keeping communication flowing between clients, internal teams, and external vendors, including tracking deliverables and making sure projects stay on schedule.  Collaborate with teams like D23 and Walt Disney Archives and get exposure to a wide range of Disney teams, leaders, and processes.


On any given day, you’ll:

  • Help shape event ideas and the business case behind them, research venues, vendors, and costs to help shape event plans
  • Write up event descriptions and communications that get people excited
  • Keep event files and documentation tidy and accessible
  • Participate in post-event debriefs to capture learnings 
  • Jump into creative problem-solving when things shift (and they will!)
  • Join client intake and kickoff calls to get things started right 

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • A love for fast-paced, ever-evolving projects
  • Flexibility and creativity when plans change (because they will!)
  • Sharp organizational skills, keen eye for detail, collaborative spirit and an eagerness to learn
  • Strong communication—written, verbal, and everything in between
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office tools and online project management software
  • Willingness to work the occasional evening or weekend when events call for it
  • Previous internship or work experience in event planning, theatre production, theme parks and guest services, convention and expo work, etc.


Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous internship or work experience in event planning, theatre production, theme parks and guest services, convention and expo work, etc.


Education:

  • Preferred Junior or Senior

  • Pursuing a degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, or related Entertainment and Live Experience fields


Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
     

Additional Information:

  • The approximate dates of this internship are January 2026 – June 2026
  • Candidate should be available to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship
  • This internship is currently in the office Monday through Thursday and work from home on Fridays, with occasional nights and weekends for events, subject to change without notice
  • Able to provide own housing and transportation for work in the Glendale, CA area

The pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour.
