Truly an incredible experience. I cannot imagine how long it took you to get an opponent chess AI to function with the amount things happening to the board as you play. Very well done.

Seriously well made. The game loop is super creative and a ton of fun. I love the literal interpretation of the idea here. This could easily be further expanded upon into something larger.

Really good pacing in terms of layout. Having each spell being introduced in a level of its own under preset guidelines was a fantastic way of getting across how they all work and their proposed situational usefulness. It almost game across like a puzzle game trying to properly space things so I could leverage the most out of my mana. Graphics are great, really give off that retro vibe of playing on an old tv. Great work here, impressive amount of depth squeezed into the short time frame.

Oh man the theme is brilliant here. I love your take on reverse bowling. And the wii aesthetic was a great way to introduce a ton of character into it within the timeline bounds. It does seem that ducking doesnt allow you to actually dodge the flying ball, so they always take one of my guys out when its thrown. Regardless its a real cute game with a great idea behind it. Well done.

Graphics and sound effects were top notch. Really great work, especially the alien boss at the end which is really a wonderful design. Game hit a good level of difficulty, took quite a bit of damage on my way up. The shooting mechanic was a bit unusual at it appeared to pause my character for a brief second before firing off the projectile. The twist at the end was super welcome, I like how you get to play as the villain prior to being forced to fend him off. Really nice entry, fitting theme, well done.

I like your take on the reverse tower defense because you actually get to build the path. Found the aspect pretty cool. The graphics are real nice, everything was well put together. There's definitely a lot of potential here. I wouldn't mind if things were sped up just a tad, felt a little slow at times. Great work, solid entry.

Wow, this is the highest score I've seen. You outdid me by at least 40 frogs.

Thank you for the kind words, its much appreciated.

Ha I actually haven't seen that one. I'll have to give it a look after the jam. Thanks for letting me know. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Super interesting concept. Game starts getting super deep as time goes on. Very technically impressive given the time limit. Does start a bit slow, found myself waiting for blocks to place, could probably be turned up a tad. But its a very fitting tetris revamp for the theme. Great job, this could definitely be fleshed out more after the jam into something really addicting.

Auto battlers are one of my favorite genre of game. This is awesome. You really hit a sweet spot on number of options in regard to the timeline of the jam. The graphics are also perfect. Really impressive stuff.

No problem at all. This is a super strong entry.

I was only able to just barely eclipse 30,000, but that was after many tries lol. The level 2 with the 3 lanes is no joke. Does it expand further after that?

Cute little game. Love the aesthetic you made here. The slight tilt in the paper was really something I really appreciated on the levels. Its a very charming, little experience.

Oh man, I love it! Really unique take on the theme. Its super addicting, you really crafted a unique classic arcade experience. The idea here is brilliant. Graphics are top notch for the genre, they really give off that old console feeling. Tight scope, extremely polished, absolutely wonderful delivery.

Amazing job. This is one of my favorites.

Art style is phenomenal, another friend of the frogs I see :). Car controls great and the collisions work tremendously. I also love how squishing a frog made the frog remains drag under the car by its wheels, a nice juicy touch. Great work honestly.

This is definitely near the top of games when it comes to creativity. Recording your own SFX was a surprisingly hilarious and amazing feature added to the game. Really brilliant. Very impressed you managed to put this together in 48 hours.

Fantastic work.

Fantastic entry! Wow, really fun game you put together here. First off, I love the art. Really gives off the hand draw kinda vibe, and the animations are super fitting. Everything is nice and juicy. The gameplay loop is very satisfying, I loved prodding at weaker sides of the map with an army of skeles to shoot away the buildings. Only downside is the recharge time, I think this game would really benefit from an increase in difficulty along with an increase in resource generation to really let the player continue the onslaught.

Game is a ton of fun, phenomenal entry.

PS Nice to see a fellow Godot user, just curious did you use 3 or 4 to make the game?

Great work as per usual. Game is super juicy, and the graphics pair up perfectly. Love the upgrading system, was always looking forward to level 2 of the plants. Really impressive work.

Good luck on Gunforged! Looking forward to its release.

Super creative theme interpretation. Cutscene slides were very impressive given the time period. Graphics are on point, looks they were pulled directly out of the era and the variations on the two mini games are super polished. Game is pretty hard! I had a difficult time keeping that rage meter down. Very impressive work.

Actually a really solid base to expand upon here. Pretty impressive you got this rigged up in 48 hours. Love the sleek look, and the mix on puzzle mechanics for the various interpretations of the theme was great. I do wish the characters moved a bit quicker, but its minor.

Great work. Solid little puzzler.

Artwork is fantastic, love the design of the carrot especially. Game is hard! It was difficult to collect those chickens, are the hole connections random?

Great entry.

Ha, well done. Very funny entry, and honestly pretty creative.

Meta AF.

There's a lot of frogger variety games (myself included) but this is the first one I've seen where the frog is hunting the car. Brilliant honestly, great take on the theme. The gameplay is a solid loop, you really made it feel like the mechanics of frogger were reworked for a fast pace car game and that frog is god damn terrifying. Graphics are super effective. Really great work, super creative.

Super cute little game. Really creative use of the theme. Graphics are clean and the ball movement felt really good. It did crash for me a couple times on one of the larger levels, but otherwise it's a really solid entry. Great job all around.

I love the concept of the game. The dungeon building aspect is super fun and its crazy how many unique interactions you managed to pack in here in such a short time. During my playthrough it appeared none of the adventurers could figure out how to get past the first room, not sure what caught them up. I dropped a monster in the center and from there they never wanted to leave.

Regardless, great work. I can see that a lot of love went into this.

Man, I love it. I knew it was gonna be good the moment it opened with the dancing apple. But really, the faces bring so much life to the characters, I kept looking for new ones.

The game itself is also really satisfying, its a ton of fun shooting the snake and then blowing his tail up into another hazard. Such a simple concept, but you managed to pack in enough juice to really make everything exciting.

Scope is tight and the execution is phenomenal. Really strong entry, fantastic work.

Got a real banger here. Really fantastic work. The take on the theme is super unique, very creative. The artwork is beautiful, everything is super cohesive. Gameplay is super enjoyable, you managed to pack a lot of juice into the design, really feels like things punch. Great job all around, this could definitely be expanded upon into something more after the jam.

Really cool stuff. I love the iteration of "build your own frogger course". Unique take on the idea for sure. Models are clean and effective and everything controls great, love sliding around with the cars. Really strong entry, solid work.

The visuals here are excellent. They convey a lot of feeling as if I can envision what it would be like to be the player running through the halls. I was a bit confused on how to progress. I kept scaring the person with the items and managed to get through one of them when a giant head appeared. The second person though didn't seem to have the same effect.

Really great work, and super unique take on the theme.

Small scope, clean execution. The game delivered exactly what I expected, maybe after it can be refined with a bit more nuance to the dinosaur. I found it pretty easy to stop him by using two of the hazards at the same time. Well done!

Classic take, really visually striking. The art direction really makes it stand out. Also, honestly pretty difficult, really had to carefully maneuver myself around the humans to get my peons to latch onto them.

Great entry!

Love the idea here. Tight scope and great execution. The flip really caught me off guard the first run lol. Visually the game has a great aesthetic and the audio is solid. I wish the controls were a little less icey, maybe give the player more control and make the projectiles faster.

Well done, fantastic entry.

Really well made implementation of reverse pac man. This is exactly what I envisioned when reading the description.

Surprisingly addicting. I got to over 15k in score. The game is solid and fits the theme. Would've been cool to see some more gameplay elements besides just the regular pacmans chasing you through the maze, but a solid entry nonetheless.

PS Nice to see another Godot user :)

Oh man, wonderfully done. The game just oozes character, the dialogue and interactions were all great. I love how much life you gave to a couple of shapes. The design is all perfect, super minimalist but everything is conveyed perfectly. The music fits the tone of the player being afk for the entire game. My only real complaint is that it was a tad easy, I was able to get through most of the levels without all the tools.

Bravo, this is a great entry.

PS Nice to see such quality in a Godot project. Just curious was it version 3 or 4?

Love the aesthetics, the UI work has a lot of juice in it, really gives a nice effect. The game itself is pretty challenging, took me a few attempts on some of them to get through the level. A way to speed up the death or reset immediately would be nice to make another attempt with a slight tweek. Really great stuff. Also big fan of the name.

Truly hilarious interpretation of the theme. Also, shockingly difficult lol. The model work is all great, really impressive level you threw together in 48 hours. The song is also and additionally hilarious touch. Very well done!

Great take on the vampire survivor formula reversed. Graphics are clean and effective, you managed to make this pretty juicy all considering. Only thing I would've like would be a bit more diversity in spawn options, but its a great entry nonetheless. Great work!

Super unique take on the theme. I really like the design choice around this one. Unfortunately after missing the directions the first time, I couldnt get them to come up again cause it appears to save. Once, I figure it out I was able to start bringing humans back to my house.

Great job!

Adorable graphics. Really, the model here is top notch, expresses a lot of life. Also great idea to include the exclamation mark to give you some information about where the bird is going to move, great QoL touch.

I wish there were a few more mechanics, but the scope is tight and its very well executed. Great work.

I love the visual direction of your game. The graphics are displayed beautifully, even the level select is extremely visually pleasing. The game is a good take on reverse snake, I really enjoyed the integration of food on the map to give you something to seek out while avoiding the snake.

The movement was a bit clunky, and I actually got stuck on top of a rock in one of my playthroughs, luckily the snake killed itself :).

Great job all around regardless. Strong entry.
