How does your game fit the theme?
the player is scaling up to reach the goal, some game elements are scaled bigger to work with the game mechanic, and the dungeon is quite literally "built" in a way that you "scale" it

pretty into the concept of completing a level small and then backtracking as a giant. I feel like there's a lot of potential for some fun setups, maybe even having longer levels and alternate paths. As for the upgrades, I'm kind of mixed on them tbh, don't know that it really fits, but it's funny having a very very fast dash. overall had a fun time!
thank you!! unfortunately some bigger levels were out of the 4 day scope, but maybe i'll come back someday to update this. i'm glad you had fun :3
The controls in this game feel so, so nice. I had a blast playing this. yes, it could be more polished, but I am still very impressed with what you have achieved in 96 hours! Great work!
tysm!! i'm glad you had fun ^_^
This is really nice!! The scene transitions were really polished and the sound and animations were pleasant too. The base movement felt really smooth and enjoyable as well :3
Some areas could have been more polished, such as breaking through walls even when you're next to them (or explaining that in the first place), or showing how many upgrades you have (the jump and dash ones felt fairly week too tbh). I'd also consider auto-completing the level when you hit the exit since there's no real reason not to? But that's personal preference I guess lmao
The choice to put a timer on the levels and make it so you start at the beginning again when you lose once makes for a fairly frustrating experience initially. But combined with the randomization of rooms and upgrades, this made for a pretty compelling mastery-based gameloop after the first restart!
Overall, I really really enjoyed this~ Great entry! See you at the yuri jam lmao :3
thanks!! :3 there's definitely some spots i could polish up but i'm glad you enjoyed it
anyways i'll see you at the yuri jam too lmao :3
Cool idea! I like the infinite/roguelike elements and scaling difficulty, and mechanically there's a lot of potential for the scale mechanic interacting when passing through the level a second time. Took me a second to realize that you could dash up but otherwise the game made it clear what to do. Good job!
thank you! there's a lot of people that didn't know about dashing up, but i'm glad you still enjoyed it :3
Well made game! The controls are pretty unintuitive and made me have to contort my hand(s) into an uncomfortable position, but the concept of the game is really solid. :)
thanks for trying it out! i would've added some keybind settings but didn't really have time to implement that
very well designed and charming with a very unique and well executed style :D good job -w-)b
thank you! i had fun making this and i'm happy with how it turned out :3
Neat roguelike puzzle platformer. The controls worked well and felt good. There was some graphical flickering when scaled up but that's only a minor issue. The game was otherwise solid. Adding powerups made the game feel fresher for longer. Well done!
i'm glad you liked it! i tried for about half an hour to try and fix the graphical issue, but unfortunately couldn't get it to stop flickering and ended up leaving it in. thanks for trying it out :]
Really cool! I love like the animations, especially the floor changing animation, and I like the music. I think it's kind of interesting that the upgrades make speedrunning easier but also makes it a bit harder to control. Once you learn the rooms it's pretty easy though, and there is some jank (expected for a jam gam). Overall, I liked it a lot!
thank you! i saw your comments about getting stuck, and i should've made that mechanic clearer, but i'm glad you still enjoyed it :]
I really loved the thoughtful details in this game, from the doorways on the main menu to the little transitions between levels! I think the controls / objectives could have been a bit clearer, but once I figured out how to handle the character, I had a huge "aha" moment that was a lot of fun to experience. Great work! :)
thanks! i definitely could've made some of the mechanics clearer, but that's something i can take away from this going into the next game i do. i'm glad you still enjoyed it! :]
