How does your game fit the theme?
In this puzzle-platformer, you can scale everything in the level using portals of different sizes. Not only that, you can also scale the portals themselves, leading to loads of fun puzzle-solving.

Wow, its super polished, I really liked how intuitive the mechanics and levels progression are. Its super on theme as well. Nicee!
Super cool, super polished, your teams stuff is always so good! Really the only critiques I have are the handful of bugs you're already aware of, and that controlling the size of portals is a bit odd but I don't really know how I'd change that - maybe have buttons that can cycle through available portals so you don't have to click and drag?
Amazing game! Everything is so good! The polish, the mechanics, the art, the soundtracks and the incorporation of the theme! If you have some time to spare, please have a look at our game and drop a last minute review!
One of the most well made games using the scaling portals in the jam, good work!
Great mechanics and take on the theme! Wonderful art style. Awesome job!
Thanks for submitting your game to the stream! If you wanted to look at it again heres the vod timestamped to your game
Can't really say much else that others haven't said already, really enjoyed it - I'm a sucker for ghosts and portals, so I give you full marks on style alone. I wonder if with later levels you could have horizontal portals that make you thinner and thicker too.
Very well made, nice art, great mechanics for plenty of unique puzzles. Love the sound design also.
Love you added a skip level option! It was cool!
It’s a very well-made puzzle platformer! There are quite a few puzzle platformers that use size mechanics this time around, but the puzzles in this one were really well-designed! Aside from occasionally getting stuck in the portals, everything was great!
10/10 no notes. The team involved is clearly incredibly talented, would love to see you all put up a behind the scenes on how you collaborate in such a short period of time
Hi. I made a video with the best games in the GMTK 2024 and your game Portalgeist is included. Here's the link if you want to watch it:
This was a fantastic game from start to the moment I stopped playing. The music is good, the visuals good, heck even the game play was polished!!
This all around good game was streamed today!!
Fantastic submission! It's a really clever take on the theme that works very well. There were a few points when pushing a 4x block into a portal it wouldn't go all the way through (it looked like because there was a wall behind the portal), but not a big issue at all. For some of the later puzzles, solving them was fun, but actually implementing the solution often took a bit longer than I was expecting. Probably my favorite game of the jam so far. Thanks for making it!
Not a fan of the mixeling, but the art is rad! Good variety of puzzles, using the portals to rescale objects is a great use of the theme, and the music is a bop! Good stuff.
Great job as always Jamadoo! I see this going far. True legends of the game jam game!
Very fun experience! I like pacing of the game, designs, music. I’m sure gonna remember this entry. Congrats on such a good submission! 💖🤘
This was a lot of fun! I liked how there were constantly new ideas being introduced, so the game never got boring. All the levels felt pretty well-designed, too. Great work on this!
it was a very refreshing usage of portals. I tried scalling myself multiple time. ❤️ love the aesthetics and the music. The level difficulty was nicely arranged, helped me understand the challenges seamlessly.
Really cool idea and very cute !
