Lepidiota stigma is known as a major pest and very destructive in sugarcane plants and some plant... more Lepidiota stigma is known as a major pest and very destructive in sugarcane plants and some plantation commodities such as cocoa, coffee, and oil palm plants. The research aimed to determine of the presence and status of L. stigma as an initial anticipatory step in control activities. This research was designed as quantitative descriptive research on four fields, namely cocoa plantations, coffee plantations, oil palm fields, and empty land (thatch). The sample structure and observations were made following a diagonal line, which the observations of L. stigma were carried out when digging holes at a depth of 5 cm, 10 cm, and 15 cm in the sample area at a size of 1 x1 m., and five samples were taken from each field. The average observation results were analyzed descriptively with reference to the economic threshold value. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organic matter in the planting medium an... more The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organic matter in the planting medium and a concentration of 2.4 D on the growth of breadfruit root cuttings. This experiment was carried out in the form of a factorial experiment consisting of two factors using a Completely Randomized Block Design (CRBD) with 2 treatment factors. The first treatment was utilizing media of organic materials; filter cake, sawdust and rice husk. The second treatment was adding a concentration of 2.4 D: 1.0; 1.5 ; and 2.0 mL.L-1 water. The experimental results showed that breadfruit root cuttings in the filter media were better for shoot height, number of leaves, leaf area and root volume compared to sawdust and rice husk media. A low concentration of 2.4 D (1.0 mL.L-1 water) showed better growth of shoot height and number of leaves than higher concentrations. A Ni reduction in the soil by using phyto-accumulator such as Jack bean (Canavalia ensiformis L.) can be improved by combining it with arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the mycorrhizal fungus Acaulospora sp. on the efficiency of Ni reduction by C. ensiformis. Salah satu manfaatnya sebagai antibakteri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas salep ekstrak daun sirsak pada luka yang terinfeksi bakteri Staphylococcus aureus dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan efektivitas salep ekstrak daun sirsak sebagai antibakteri dengan konsentrasi 10%, 15% dan 30%. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen. Subjek penelitian berupa mencit yang dilakukan sebanyak 5 perlakuan yaitu kontrol negatif, kontrol positif, salep ekstrak daun sirsak 10%, salep ekstrak daun sirsak 20% dan salep ekstrak daun sirsak 30% yang diujikan dengan membuat luka infeksi dengan panjang luka yang dibuat 1 cm. CM 2012 at the PT Perkebunan Nusantara XIV Arasoe Sugar Factory, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi from June to September 2019. The sucrosin was applied by immersing three segments of sugarcane cuttings (three eyes) for 30 minutes, then planted in a separate block from control treatment, with an area of 3 ha, respectively. Plant sampling was carried out diagonally on 10 rows of plants with a line length of 10 m per row. Data analysis was carried out using t test at α=0.05 level, correlation, and regression analysis to compare the growth parameters of sugarcane shoots, and to determine the relationship between shoot growth and the sucrosin treatments. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan bibit tanaman lada pada berbagai dosis pupuk majemuk serta kelimpahan dua jenis mikoriza arbuskula dalam rhizosfer tanaman. Penelitian ini disusun berdasarkan rancangan acak kelompok, dengan perlakuan konsentrasi pupuk majemuk, yaitu 1 mg.L-1 air (P1), 1.5 mg.L-1 air (P2), dan 2 mg.L-1 air (P3). Bibit lada diinokulasikan dua jenis CMA yaitu Glomus sp. dan Acaullusspora sp. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertumbuhan tanaman lada melalui volume akar yang terbentuk lebih baik pada konsentrasi pupuk majemuk 1 mg.L-1 dibandingkan dengan konsentrasi pupuk cair yang lebih tinggi (2 mg.L-1). Eleven soil samples were collected from sugarcane rhizosphere in three districts of South Sulawesi province, Indonesia. Six samples of sugarcane varieties CM 2012, PS 862, PS 864, TK 386, BL, and Triton were taken from Takalar district; two samples of sugarcane varieties, CM 2012 and TK 386 were from Jeneponto district; and three samples taken from Gowa district were varieties of PS 862 and TK 386. The study informed that ten different types of AM fungi were found in three districts of South Sulawesi province included three families of the fungi i.e. Glomaceae, Acaulosporaceae, and Gigasporaceae. Sampel tanah yang diperoleh disaring dengan metode penyaringan basah untuk mendapatkan spora mikoriza untuk diidentifikasi.
