Nonetheless with such application, the component is highly vulnerable to failed under active loading condition. To prevent such failure, a reliable test to characterize the in-service structural component and its material properties is highly sought by manufacturing industries. This study is based on non-destructive testing by implementing the acoustics signals to describe the relationship of metallic material properties. Experimental procedure accordance to ASTM 1876 standards was carried out by using an impact hammer within specific range of impact force and acted to the specimens.
