This paper reports the synthesis and characterization of Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) absorber films, prepare... more This paper reports the synthesis and characterization of Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) absorber films, prepared by a two-step electrodeposition of a ZnS (zinc sulfide) binary and a CZT (copper, zinc and tin) ternary precursors on Mo/Ti/Si substrates. The as-electrodeposited ZnS/CZT and CZT/ZnS stacks were thermally treated in a tubular furnace in sulfur environment at 550 °C. The role of the ZnS buffer layer is to provide a zinc and sulfur reservoir, needed to complete the formation of kesterite phase. X-ray diffraction and Raman analyses revealed the formation of the CZTS phase. The surface morphology and chemical composition of the films were studied using a scanning electron microscope. The bandgap values inferred from diffuse reflectance data, are discussed with respect to the stoichiometry which is considerably affected by the order of the stacks. Room-temperature photoluminescence of the CZT/ZnS sample showed a board PL band of 1.51 eV. It was found that the film with a ZnS layer on top is preferred for the formation of a Zn-rich single CZTS phase.

Smart cities are revolutionizing the transportation infrastructure by the integration of technolo... more Smart cities are revolutionizing the transportation infrastructure by the integration of technology. However, ensuring that various transportation system components are operating as expected and in a safe manner is a great challenge. In this work, we propose the use of formal methods as a means to specify and reason about the traffic network’s complex properties. Formal methods provide a flexible tool to define the safe operation of the traffic network by capturing non-conforming behavior, exploring various possible states of the traffic scene and detecting any inconsistencies within it. Hence, we develop specification-based monitoring for the analysis of traffic networks using the formal language, Signal Temporal Logic. We develop monitors that identify safety-related behavior such as conforming to speed limits and maintaining appropriate headway. In the literature on construction industry transformation through policy-backed initiatives, how firms will respond to the demands to adopt and use innovative technologies and approaches is taken for granted, and there is scarcely any attention given to the institutional implications of transformation agenda. The purpose of this paper is to discuss these gaps and offer directions for future research. Background: Coronary artery disease (CAD) patients improved their health status with percutaneous... more Background: Coronary artery disease (CAD) patients improved their health status with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), aerobic training and weight reduction. Purpose: was to investigate the alteration in left ventricular function, body mass index (BMI), and quality of life after 36 sessions of aerobic training after PCI for coronary artery diseased patients. Methods: Forty patients of both sexes (5 women and 35men) with coronary artery disease and underwent PCI were included, their ages ranged from 45 to 65 years. They were chosen from Agouza Police Hospital and National Heart Institute. They were assigned in a single study group which received twelve weeks of a treadmill walking exercise for 30 minutes three times a week. Recent economic transformations have forced companies to redefine their value propositions, incre... more Recent economic transformations have forced companies to redefine their value propositions, increasing traditional product offerings with supplementary services—the so-called Product-Service System (PSS). Among them, the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies is very common. However, the directions that companies are undertaking to offer new value to their customers in the Industry 4.0 have not yet been investigated in detail. Based on a focus group, this paper contributes to this understanding by identifying the main trajectories that would shape a future scenario in which PSS and Industry 4.0 would merge. In addition, future research directions addressing (a) the transformation of the PSS value chain into a PSS ecosystem, (b) the transformation inside a single company towards becoming a PSS provider, and (c) the digital transformation of the traditional PSS business model are identified.

Pomalidomide (POM) is a distinct IMiD® immunomodulatory agent with a mechanism of action consisting of direct anti-myeloma, stromal-support inhibitory, and immunomodulatory effects. In randomized phase 2 and 3 trials (MM-002 and MM-003), POM plus low-dose dexamethasone (POM+LoDEX) demonstrated marked efficacy in RRMM pts who had received multiple prior therapies, including LEN and BORT. This side-by-side analysis presents the most recent survival and safety data from these trials. Methods The MM-002 and MM-003 trials enrolled pts with ≥ 2 prior therapies, including LEN and BORT.
