Assessing the acquired competencies during a learning activity as well as the possibility of simu... more Assessing the acquired competencies during a learning activity as well as the possibility of simulating difficult situations or scenarios are important challenges in learning management. The current uses of (semi) formal models representing the knowledge domain open the possibility of advanced techniques of simulation and monitoring. In this paper, we propose an assessment environment for model-based learning management that integrates simulation and monitoring facilities. In particular, we describe its architecture and main functionalities and its application inside an ongoing EU project. The proposed framework allows for user-friendly learning simulation with a strong support for collaboration and social interactions. Moreover, it monitors the learners’ behavior during simulation execution and it is able to compute the learning scores useful for the learner knowledge assessment.

This paper provides a novel approach to this task. We first introduce a neural contextual utterance encoder featuring three types of self-attention mechanisms. We then train it using the siamese and triplet energy-based meta-architectures. Experiments on the AMI corpus show that our system outperforms multiple energy-based and non-energy based baselines from the state-of-the-art. Code and data are publicly available.
Automatic email answering is a difficult AI problem that combines classification, natural languag... more Automatic email answering is a difficult AI problem that combines classification, natural language understanding and text generation techniques. We present an original approach and a tool based on an ontology to automatically reply to meeting emails. We constructed the ontology from a French corpus of 1150 emails in which the concepts represent detailed meeting intents (proposing a meeting, cancelling a meeting, rescheduling a meeting) and different answer templates. Each intent concept is a semantic rule formalized according to the FrameNet methodology. These rules are used to detect intents in emails and also to extract relevant information (such as date, time or person) used for generating replies. The main advantage of our approach is the generation of more precise answers than those proposed by other approaches. Our objective is to build a Spoken Language Understanding system that maintains high performance in both Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Natural Language Processing while being portable and scalable. In this paper we describe the LinTO architecture and our approach to ASR engine training which takes advantage of recent advances in deep learning while guaranteeing high-performance real-time processing. Unlike the existing solutions, the LinTO platform is open source for commercial and non-commercial use

Distributed according to an open model that respects private data LinTO is the first open-source enterprise's assistant designed to comply with the GDPR requirements.

This paper presents a platform, namely 6Napse, dedicated to enterprise collaboration. The goal of this platform is to provide an intuitive, social and collaborative platform to enterprises. 6Napse is developed on the basis of the social network and collaboration-centric concepts, whereas most of the current available platforms are focused on data or users. Collaboration in 6Napse will involve at least two people from different enterprises. The platform itself provides several native services that the members can use in order to work with others for a specific purpose. The objective of this paper is to describe in detail the concepts of 6Napse and the functionalities proposed in the platform. A graphical user interface as well as the technologies used for developing the platform will be also presented.
