In this article a load analysis is carried out that is capable of solving the daytime demand for ... more In this article a load analysis is carried out that is capable of solving the daytime demand for a home in the La Armenia urbanization of the Conooto parish belonging to the Quito canton, with the sizing of photovoltaic cells connected to the grid, seeking to reduce the environmental impact and the cost in terms of electricity generation. The sun is considered as the main resource that contributes to the generation of electricity, since the sun spills enough energy on the planet, if it is used efficiently, we could produce 400 times more than what is currently generated. The sector in which the study is carried out generates 4.16 kWh of solar energy on a daily average, with the use of this energy we could satisfy the daytime consumption of the house; A design of a grid connection photovoltaic generation system will be carried out in the form of distributed generation to satisfy the demand of the house during daytime hours

It is based on the information obtained about the occurrence of the earthquake on April 16 and considering data from other events of the same nature occurred in the territory, an assessment of the seismic risk for the city and by characterization of one of the zones is made subject to danger, the introduction of photovoltaic luminaires is proposed in order to provide certain strengths that can facilitate the work of the first urgency in the rescue and urgent repair of breakdowns, as well as the evacuation of the population to safer areas especially at night. An analysis is made of the technological structure of photovoltaic luminaires and the prices they have in the market, both internally and internationally.

In this work, the design project of a photovoltaic system to feed a house is shown, based on a de... more In this work, the design project of a photovoltaic system to feed a house is shown, based on a demand study and its general characteristics, the available area for the assembly of the modules, the geographic location, and the meteorological data of the place. With this information, the relevant calculations were carried out to ensure that the installation provides the energy necessary to cover the consumption of the home and, also, delivers the excess energy to the grid. The PVsyst software was used to design the photovoltaic system. To check the advantages of implementing the photovoltaic arrangement, the benefit-cost relationship was evaluated, conducting an environmental impact analysis taking into account the reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and the tons of fossil fuel left to burn when generating electricity. With this power source, making it convenient to carry out the installation.

A technical evaluation of the connected photovoltaic power plant is carried out as a microrred obtaining as a result the improvement of the profiles of voltage, current and apparent power, at the same time that it favors the reduction of the electric energy consumption of the conventional network, with the potential to decrease The amount of the electric bill, contributing to the reduction of oil consumption and CO2 emissions to the atmosphere.
