This research focused on the development of elementary school English learners’ speaking ability as well as their attitude change in learning English with EBS AI PengTalk. To answer these questions, 45 elementary school students in Gangwon province participated in this case study. The findings revealed as follows. First, students showed improvement in speaking. The mean score was improved by about 0.8 points compared to the pre-test, and there was a significant difference in speaking ability in general. Second, regarding the change of learning attitude toward English, students showed a positive perspective in studying English with EBS AI PengTalk. The mean was escalated at about 1.0 and there was also a significant improvement in the learning attitude. In order to answer these questions, a total number of 46 ELLs from a public elementary school participated in this research. Survey questionnaire on affective factors and learning satisfaction were distributed and the results were analyzed quantitatively. The findings are as follows. First, participants could expand their knowledge on AI-based activity towards its educational advantages and capability. Second, overall affective factors of the participants on AI-based activity changed positively, with the improvement of the mean score. The paired samples t-test showed that there was a significant difference among interest, value and attitude. In order to answer these questions, a survey of 50 questionnaires were distributed to 54 primary teachers’ college students and 50 secondary teacher’s college ones, respectively. A survey consisted of 5 categories including class contents, instruction results, class environment, instructional supports and efficiency. To analyze data, the descriptive analysis and independent sample t-test were administerd using Jamovi statistical program. The results revealed that there was no significant difference between two groups in terms of the overall class satisfaction, even though the mean score from the secondary teachers’ college students was higher than that of the primary teachers’ college students.
