Therefore, it is important how national education systems adapt to changing skill requirements within a globalized economy. This study examines Entrepreneurship Education as a Panacea for Job Creation and Sustainable Development in Nigeria. Human capital theory (HCT) and Risk taking theory (RTT) guided the study. Among other concern areas examined in this study include; literature review, concept of entrepreneurship, basic aspects of an entrepreneur, entrepreneurship education and job creation, brief history of entrepreneurship, benefits of Entrepreneurship for sustainable development, contribution of entrepreneur in development of Nigeria economy, challenges and possible solutions and conclusion was drawn. It was however, recommended that the government should give adequate attention to entrepreneurial d...

Thus, time series data was used to determine the relationship between the variables over the period of 48 months i.e. from September 2013 to August 2017. The study employed a Robust Least Square (RLS) technique to estimate the variables under investigation. The findings revealed that the Treasury Single Account has a positive and statistically significant impact on bank liquidity. Equally, the interest rate has a positive and statistically significant impact on bank liquidity. Consequent upon the major findings, government, banks and members of the business community should be further educated on the positivity and efficacy of the Treasury Single Account in controlling public looting, fraud and other forms of corruptions and alternatively boosting public fund which will automatically reduce public debt.

The result of this study indicates that economic growth and access to safe drinking water exert positive and statistically significant impact on life expectancy at birth. Consequently, upon the findings of this study, a number of recommendations are given which include: the need for the governments to intensify its existing policies in order to maintain inclusive economic growth that would increase employment generation and reduce poverty for better life expectancy. Moreover, there is also need for governments, Nongovernmental organizations, international development partners and philanthropists to intervene in improving access to safe and portable drinking water in both rural and urban areas through construction of borehol...

Thepaper therefore posits that commercial agriculture is a veritable tool for tackling development; mitigates food insecurity and poverty challenges as it affects the people of the sub-region. The methodsof this study involved analysis of documents and secondary data. To address the problem this study raised, the following questions were posed: to what extent is the SSA agriculture becoming a business? What are the driving forces to make smallholder agriculture a more market oriented and stimulating activities for specialise enterprises in agro-food business? How can the international and domestic private sector become the driver of the transformation? What are the governments of the SSA doing to promote such transformation towards commercialisation? The paper revealed...
This paper attempts to juxtapose the relationship among judicial corruption, financial developmen... more This paper attempts to juxtapose the relationship among judicial corruption, financial development and economic growth in Nigeria over the period of 1980 to 2016 using Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) Model and Granger-Causality Test. The former takes care of both long-run and short-run dynamic effects of judicial corruption and financial development as it affects economic growth while the latter captures the flow of causality among the variables. Therefore, the ARDL Bound test result reveals cointegration implying a long-run relationship among judicial corruption, financial development and economic growth. The short-run result shows that judicial corruption is negatively and significantly related to economic growth while ni the long-run, a positive but insignificant relationship exists. It also reveals that rule of law is positively and significantly related to economic growth in the short-run. However, the results of the Granger-causality test show that there is unidirectiona...

This research focus on determination of concentrations of Cr, Fe, Cd, Pb, Mn, Zn and Cu in Chikila, Lamja, Lafia Obi, Maiganga and Okaba coals from Benue Trough using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). Lafia Obi coal has the highest concentrations of Fe, Cr and Mn with values 314.28 mg/kg, 108.60 mg/kg and 103.53 mg/kg respectively. The highest concentrations of Cu (89.23 mg/kg) and Zn (8.17 mg/kg) were found in Okaba coal while Lamja coal has the highest concentration of Cd (1.28 mg/kg). Lead was below the detection limit in all the coal samples while chromium was not detected in Lamja coal only. The concentrations of all the metals in the coal samples, with the exception of cadmium in Chikila coal, are above the approved limits set...

Implementation fidelity of the Programmatic Management guidelines for the treatment of Drug-resistant Tuberculosis was measured under the four domains of content, coverage, duration and frequency. The determinants examined are intervention complexity, facilitation strategies, quality of delivery and participant responsiveness as proposed by the Carroll et al framework. Other determinants used are age, sex, professional cadre and work experience of healthcare providers. Results: The Implementation fidelity score ranged from 40 - 64% with a mean of 47.6%. The existing methods (LWS, WLSF, WLSDRGP) address only the problem of IO but fail to remedy the combine problem of heteroscedasticity and IOs. Therefore, in this research we develop a method that will remedy the combine problem of heteroscedasticity and IOs based on robust heteroscedasticity consistent covariance matrix (RHCCM) estimator and fast improvised influential distance (FIID) weighting method denoted by WLSFIID. The simulation and numerical evidences show that our proposed estimation method is more efficient than the existing methods by providing smallest bias, and smallest standard error of HC4 and HC5.

It often poses a diagnostic dilemma. There are a few reported cases of primary sinonasal TB in literature. The aim of this study is to report another case of primary sinonasal TB. A 27-year-old female presented with 5 months history of nasal blockade and epistaxis. There was no history of cough, night sweat, malaise, anorexia, weight loss, or fever. Examination revealed a mass in the left nasal cavity extending up to the nasopharynx with contact bleeding. Computerized tomography scan showed a hyperdense lesion, suspected to be a tumor, involving the nasal septum and filling the entire left maxillary sinus with bony destruction of the anterolateral, posterior and medial walls. Chest X-ray, retroviral screening, and other biochemical results were essentially normal. The lesion was excised through lateral rhinotomy, and histology revealed sinonasal TB. Primary sinonasal TB is seldomly seen, meticulous and high index of suspicion in the context of clinical, radiological, and pathological characteristics remain paramount and critical in making an otherwise challenging diagnosis.

The household automation system does not only reduce individual exertions but likewise, timesaving and energy efficiency. The main purpose of the household automation and security system is to help in controlling our household gadgets by the used of various methods such as the user of web pages, android application, and Global System for Mobile communication (GSM) when one is not at his home, office or organization. The system will inform you if theirs is an intrusion or abduction in the secured environment by sending a short message service (SMS) on the person's phone. The system can also assist old age individuals by helping them control their home devices with the aid of their smartphones because they old age will not allow them to go to these places and On or OFF this appliance or to regulate them. The rate of theft and abduction in some parts of Nigeria is increasing by the day; this imbibes fears that become a threat to the peace and economic development of the country. It is paramount to find viable technologies that will secure the lives of humans as countermeasures to tackle this kind of problem. With the help of the latest development of technology, it is possible to secure people’s lives, industries, schools, organizations, and homes using an alarm security system that will monitor, guide and protect against burglar and abductors. This paper will review literature related to security alarm systems, different types of sensors used in the security system, advances in its technology, and the challenges homeowners faced, and the importance of installation for security purposes
