Örneklerin total boy uzunlukları ve ağırlıkları dişilerde 7,1-11,6 cm ve 2,9-12,3 g; erkeklerde 7,0-11,9 cm ve 2,7-13,5 g arasında değişmiştir. Dişi/erkek oranı 1/0,87 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Boy-ağırlık ilişkileri dişilerde W=0,0111TL2,90 (R2=0,80); erkeklerde W=0,0155TL2,76 (R2=0,83); tüm bireylerde W=0,0136TL2,81 (R2=0,82) olarak belirlenmiştir. Pülümür Nehri’ndeki A. bipunctatus’un negatif allometrik bir büyüme gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. The aim of study was to compare the effects of supplementation of food with herbal oils (Thymus v... more The aim of study was to compare the effects of supplementation of food with herbal oils (Thymus vulgaris and Foeniculum vulgare) on biochemical properties and electrolytes of rainbow trout infected with Yersinia ruckeri. In total, 120 healthy fish (mean weight 84 ± 1.02 g) were equally divided into four experimental groups. The experimental study was carried out for one week. The first group was control without supplementation and infection, the second group was infected and without oil supplementation, the third group was supplemented with oils (10 ml·100 g-1 rates) for one week and infected with Y. ruckeri and the last group was oil supplemented without infection. Results indicated that fish fed with dietary supplements showed enhanced bactericidal activity, total protein, albumin, cholesterol, triglyceride and bilirubin compared to the control (P < 0.05). The aim of this study is to assess the toxicity of ibuprofen (IBU) and propranolol (PRO) drugs us... more The aim of this study is to assess the toxicity of ibuprofen (IBU) and propranolol (PRO) drugs usingGammarus pulex as a model organism. Firstly, the 96 h LC50 values of IBU and PRO were determined and then three sublethal concentrations of the drugs were exposed to G. pulex. The activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and acetylcholinesterase (AChE) were evaluated. SOD activity decreased in G. pulex exposed to IBU and PRO compared to control. In all groups exposed to IBU, CAT activity increased at different concentrations at 24 and 96 h. In the groups exposed to different PRO concentrations, CAT activities increased after 24 h compared to the control group (p < 0.05). AChE activities increased in all application groups exposed to IBU for 96 hours (p < 0.05). In conclusion, exposure to IBU and PRO resulted in increased oxidative damage. PRO has been found to cause neurotoxicity.

Dimethoate ve malathion'un öldürücü konsantrasyonu (LC50) 96 saat maruziyet sonunda 40,82±2,54 mg/L olarak hesaplanmıştır. D. polymorpha dimethoate ve malathionun üç subletal konsantrasyonuna (LC50 değerine 1/16, 1/8 ve 1/4 oranla) 24 saat ve 96 saat boyunca maruz bırakılmıştır. CYP1A1 ve AChE seviyeleri, ticari kit kullanılarak mikroplaka okuyucuda ölçülmüştür. AChE aktivitelerinin kontrol grubuna göre 96 saat sonra tüm maruziyet gruplarında düştüğü gözlenmiştir. In this study, seasonal changes in malondialdehyde and reductase glutathione levels and catalase ... more In this study, seasonal changes in malondialdehyde and reductase glutathione levels and catalase and glutathione peroxidase enzyme activities in the liver and gill tissues of Capoeta umbla, which hunted from Pulumur river with monthly periods, were determined. According to the obtained data, MDA levels detected in liver tissues of fish were similar in winter, spring and summer seasons, but in the autumn higher than other seasonal values (p<0,05). Liver GSH level of fish caught in winter is low in other seasons and the difference between them is statistically significant (p<0,05). The CAT activity of liver in summer and autumn seasons was found to be higher than CAT activity in winter and spring seasons (p<0,05). The liver GSH-Px activity of fish caught in winter is lower than other seasons and the difference between them is statistically significant (p<0,05). D. polymorpha, CFT’nin subletal konsantrasyonlar (LC50 degerinin 1/20, 1/10 ve 1/5)’ina 24 ve 96 saat sure ile maruz birakilmistir. D. polymorpha bireylerinde superoksit dismustaz (SOD), katalaz (CAT) ve Glutatyon peroksidaz (GPx) enzim aktiviteleri belirlenmistir. CFT’ye maruz birakilan D. polymorpha’da, SOD aktivitesi kontrole kiyasla artmistir. CAT ve GPx aktivitelerinin kontrole kiyasla inhibe oldugu belirlenmistir. In this study, the length-weight and length-length relationships were determined for Salmo trutta... more In this study, the length-weight and length-length relationships were determined for Salmo trutta macrostigma (Dumeril, 1858) captured in the 15 different site of Karasu River (Tributary of Firat River). A total of 104 specimens were catched by electroshocker, gill nets, and trammel nets between October 2014 to September 2015. The total length and weight of the sampled ranged between 8.6-27.4cm and 5.4-241g. The length-weight relationships were determined as W=0.0097L 3. 06 (R 2 =0.86) for females, W=0.0095L 3.08 (R 2 =0.96) for males and W=0.0068L 3.19 (R 2 =0.97) for all individuals. The types of growth for all individuals were positive allometric for Salmo trutta macrostigma. Length-length relationships were determined as TL=0.592+1.009FL, FL=-0.104+1.107SL and SL=-0.212+0.881TL for all individuals.
The study area, which is in the tributary of Karasu River (Yesildere, Kosk, Agasuyu, Sincan, Poik... more The study area, which is in the tributary of Karasu River (Yesildere, Kosk, Agasuyu, Sincan, Poik, Cigdemli, Han, Karahasan, Tasagil, Karatas, Buyukgoze, Deli, Eric, Kirik, Karni streams) in the East Anatolia region of Turkey. The total length and weight of the sampled ranged between 8.6-27.4 cm and 5.4-241 g. Following the removal of digestive tracts, stomachs were opened. Stomach contents flooded with distilled water were examined under a stereoscopic microscope. Contents were sorted and prey items were identified. The number of red spotted trout stomachs that contained at least one prey item or any digested remains was 72 (%69.2). There were 32 (%30.8) empty stomachs. The most important groups were mayfly and simulidae (with IRI=58.6% and IRI= 33.2 % respectively) for Salmo trutta macrostigma in Karasu River. Chrinomid, stonefly, caddisfly, gammarus, unidentified small fishes were the rare in the food groups. The condition factor varied between 0.820-1.621
In this paper, water quality of the river lyidere in between the cities of Rize and Trabzon as a ... more In this paper, water quality of the river lyidere in between the cities of Rize and Trabzon as a border, in Eastern Black Sea Region which has a rich freshwater capacity was investigated. The study was carried out betweenNovember, 2003 and May, 2004. Water samples were taken from the tour different stations with 10 km intervals between each other, up to 30 km inwards from the river mouth and up to 263 m altitude from the sea level. Some chemical measurings such as pH, HCO 3 , CO 2 , BOI 5 , Ca, Mg, total hardness, nitrite, ammonium, phosphate, suspended matter and alkalinity were performed with the water samples. Moreover, the flowing speed, water temperature, dissolved oxygen in water, saturation of dissolved oxygen in water, conductivity and salinity were also determined. Bu calismada, organofosfat insektisit malathionun subletal konsantrasyonlarinin Gammarus pulex&... more Bu calismada, organofosfat insektisit malathionun subletal konsantrasyonlarinin Gammarus pulex'teki AChE aktivitesi uzerine akut (24 ve 48 saat) etkisi incelenmistir. Bu amacla, G. pulex'e malathionun iki farkli sublethal konsantrasyonu (0.1 ve 0.2 mg l-1) 24 ve 48 saat boyunca uygulandi. 24 ve 48 saat malathion maruziyetinin sonunda G. pulex ornekleri alindi. Alinan orneklerde AChE enzim aktivitesi ve protein duzeyi belirlenerek, spesifik AChE enzim aktivitesi hesaplandi. Malathionunun sublethal konsantrasyonlari G. pulex'te AChE aktivitesininin zamana bagli artan inhibisyonuna neden oldu. 0.1 mg l-1 malathion konsantrasyonuna maruz kalan grupta, AChE'nin inhibisyonu, kontrol ile karsilastirildiginda, 24 saatte %50 ve 48 saatte %74 olarak tespit edildi. Ekim 2014-Eylul 2015 tarihleri arasinda elektrosoker ile 228 A. mossulensis ve 365 A. marmid yakalanmistir. Total boy-agirlik iliskileri A. mossulensis icin W=0,0128L 2,81 (r 2 =0,93); A. marmid icin W=0,0055L 3,30 (r 2 =0,97) olarak tespit edilmistir. A. mossulensis ’ in tum bireylerinde negatif allometrik ve A. marmid ’ te ise pozitif allometrik buyume bulunmustur. Bu amacla, 2014 ve 2016 yillari arasinda elektrosokerle toplam 236 C. regium balik ornegi (124 disi ve 112 erkek) yakalandi. Orneklenen C. regium bireylerinin total boy ve agirligi sirasiyla 11,0-33,0 cm ile 33,0-324,0 g arasinda degistigi gorulmustur. Incelenen bireylerin yaslarinin 1-7 arasinda degistigi gorulmus ve disi:erkek orani 1:0.903 olarak belirlenmistir. von Bertalanffy buyume parametreleri tum bireyler icin Lt=40,17[1-e-0,154(t+2,14)]; Wt=495,009[1-e-0,154(t+2,14)]2,50 ve buyume performans indeks degeri (Ф') ise 2,395 olarak hesaplanmistir. Incelenen populasyon icin boy-agirlik iliskileri ise W=0,0503L2,50 (R² = 0,97; b’nin guven araliklari=2,41-2,70; p<0,001) seklinde bulunmustur. Bu degerlere gore, C. regium’un buyume tipinin negatif allometrik ozellik gosterdigi gorulmustur.

Test organizmasi bireyleri, her sicaklik (10, 14, 18 °C) icin belirli oranlarda (C1; 1/10, C2; 1/20 ve C3; 1/40) LC50 degerlerinin 96 saat boyunca subletal konsantrasyonlara maruz birakildi. Cd'ye maruz kalan G. pulex'te belirlenen sicakliklarda malondialdehid (MDA) seviyesi, glutatyon peroksidaz (GPx) ve katalaz (CAT) enzim aktiviteleri arastirildi. Sicaklik arttikca MDA seviyesi ve CAT enzim aktivitesi artarken GPx enzim aktiviteleri azaldi. Bu calismanin sonuclarina gore, G. pulex uzerinde Cd'nin neden oldugu biyokimyasal yanitin sicaklik ile istatistiksel olarak anlamli farkliliklara (p<0,05) sahip oldugu belirlenmistir. Bu calismada, risk degerlendirmesi icin biyobelirtec olarak MDA seviyelerinin CAT ve GPx ile iliskili enzimler, Cd maruziyeti, toksisite ve sicaklik degisimi ile kullanilmasi yararli olabilir.

Some chemical measurings such as pH, HCO 3 , CO 2 , BOI 5 , Ca, Mg, total hardness, nitrite, ammonium, phosphate, suspended matter and alkalinity were performed with the water samples. Bu calismada, organofosfat insektisit malathionun subletal konsantrasyonlarinin Gammarus pulex&... more Bu calismada, organofosfat insektisit malathionun subletal konsantrasyonlarinin Gammarus pulex'teki AChE aktivitesi uzerine akut (24 ve 48 saat) etkisi incelenmistir. Bu amacla, G. pulex'e malathionun iki farkli sublethal konsantrasyonu (0.1 ve 0.2 mg l-1) 24 ve 48 saat boyunca uygulandi. 24 ve 48 saat malathion maruziyetinin sonunda G. pulex ornekleri alindi. Alinan orneklerde AChE enzim aktivitesi ve protein duzeyi belirlenerek, spesifik AChE enzim aktivitesi hesaplandi. Malathionunun sublethal konsantrasyonlari G. pulex'te AChE aktivitesininin zamana bagli artan inhibisyonuna neden oldu. 0.1 mg l-1 malathion konsantrasyonuna maruz kalan grupta, AChE'nin inhibisyonu, kontrol ile karsilastirildiginda, 24 saatte %50 ve 48 saatte %74 olarak tespit edildi. Ekim 2014-Eylul 2015 tarihleri arasinda elektrosoker ile 228 A. mossulensis ve 365 A. marmid yakalanmistir. Total boy-agirlik iliskileri A. mossulensis icin W=0,0128L 2,81 (r 2 =0,93); A. marmid icin W=0,0055L 3,30 (r 2 =0,97) olarak tespit edilmistir. A. mossulensis ’ in tum bireylerinde negatif allometrik ve A. marmid ’ te ise pozitif allometrik buyume bulunmustur. A. mossulensis ’in boy-boy iliskisi TB=0,3611+1,0737CB, CB=0,3132+1,0549SB ve SB=0,0709+0,8325TB; A. marmid ’in ise TB=0,2043+1,0767CB, CB=0,1062+1,0999SB ve SB=0,1125+0,8047TB olarak hesaplanmistir.

Bu amacla, 2014 ve 2016 yillari arasinda elektrosokerle toplam 236 C. regium balik ornegi (124 disi ve 112 erkek) yakalandi. Orneklenen C. regium bireylerinin total boy ve agirligi sirasiyla 11,0-33,0 cm ile 33,0-324,0 g arasinda degistigi gorulmustur. Incelenen bireylerin yaslarinin 1-7 arasinda degistigi gorulmus ve disi:erkek orani 1:0.903 olarak belirlenmistir. von Bertalanffy buyume parametreleri tum bireyler icin Lt=40,17[1-e-0,154(t+2,14)]; Wt=495,009[1-e-0,154(t+2,14)]2,50 ve buyume performans indeks degeri (Ф') ise 2,395 olarak hesaplanmistir. Incelenen populasyon icin boy-agirlik iliskileri ise W=0,0503L2,50 (R² = 0,97; b’nin guven araliklari=2,41-2,70; p<0,001) seklinde bulunmustur. Bu degerlere gore, C. regium’un buyume tipinin negatif allometrik ozellik gosterdigi gorulmustur.
Bu calismada Gammarus pulex uzerinde kadmiyum (Cd) toksisitesinin su sicakligina bagli olarak oks... more Bu calismada Gammarus pulex uzerinde kadmiyum (Cd) toksisitesinin su sicakligina bagli olarak oksidatif stres etkileri arastirilmistir. Test organizmasi bireyleri, her sicaklik (10, 14, 18 °C) icin belirli oranlarda (C1; 1/10, C2; 1/20 ve C3; 1/40) LC50 degerlerinin 96 saat boyunca subletal konsantrasyonlara maruz birakildi. Cd'ye maruz kalan G. pulex'te belirlenen sicakliklarda malondialdehid (MDA) seviyesi, glutatyon peroksidaz (GPx) ve katalaz (CAT) enzim aktiviteleri arastirildi. Sicaklik arttikca MDA seviyesi ve CAT enzim aktivitesi artarken GPx enzim aktiviteleri azaldi. Bu calismanin sonuclarina gore, G. pulex uzerinde Cd'nin neden oldugu biyokimyasal yanitin sicaklik ile istatistiksel olarak anlamli farkliliklara (p<0,05) sahip oldugu belirlenmistir. Bu calismada, risk degerlendirmesi icin biyobelirtec olarak MDA seviyelerinin CAT ve GPx ile iliskili enzimler, Cd maruziyeti, toksisite ve sicaklik degisimi ile kullanilmasi yararli olabilir.
