The scope of the study was limited to remote teaching which was conducted between Mar 2020 and December 2020, when Malay-sia government urged an emergency national lockdown to stop the spread of coronavirus in the country. This study adopted qualitative, case study re-search design. 10 public elementary school teachers were sampled using a purposive sampling method. Semi-structured interviews were employed to gain the insights of teachers’ challenges in implementation of emergency re-mote teaching. The data were analysed using thematic analysis and a facilitation of Nvivo 12 programme. Research on blended learning pedagogy has been intensively focused on developing Higher Order Thi... more Research on blended learning pedagogy has been intensively focused on developing Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) among students. Nevertheless, predicting the effectiveness of students associated with learning through planned blended activities quantitatively would be insufficient without further researches. Therefore, this study included respondents' experiences and opinion in evaluating the effectiveness of the proposed blended learning intervention called 120-Minute Instructional Station Rotation Model (MRSP120). This innovation of Station Rotation instructional model combined three main approaches, which were Team-Based Learning, Online Collaborative Learning and Traditional Method. Also, this pedagogy integrated principles of Meaningful Learning. Semi-structured interview using phenomenology approach was carried out to explore students' state of perception. Reviews on the impact of MRSP120 were collected and analysed. The results depict that the components within MRSP120, play important roles to develop HOTS. Discussion on the MRSP120 implementation could provide some insights on the potential to develop HOTS through discourse activities and argumentation.

This paper aims to investigate the students’ perception on medium of communication and delivery o... more This paper aims to investigate the students’ perception on medium of communication and delivery of information used in teaching and learning, and to investigate the level of difficulty based on social science research syllabus. Based on quantitative research design, we conducted a survey study to ten postgraduate students (purposive sampling) and applied interviews to support quantitative data collected. All participants have enrolled in research methodology course for one semester. The sharing of information and communication through online platform? can occur using several mediums such as e-Learning, Facebook, WhatApps, E-mail, Mobile Apps, YouTube and Blog. Findings showed that the most difficult topic in quantitative research syllabus are “Data Analysis and Interpretation”, “Research Designs 1: Ethnographic, Historical, Developmental”, “Research Designs 2: Narrative & Action Research” as the most difficult topics in qualitative research syllabus. Meanwhile, students have selected “Data Analysis” as the most difficult topic in mixed-method research. This study suggests exploring five aspects of student's interactions for future research in development of mobile learning environment among social science postgraduate students.

This method has gradually been introduced in the education system in line with the constant changing of the education landscape of the 21st century. Yet as this method eventually reaches its saturation point among students, a different method needs to be injected into e - learning. Game based learning, serious games and gamifications are methods that have been infused into e - learning to make it more engaging for the students. Yet as gamification only involves the elements of games such as points, badges and leader board, the usage in teaching and learning process can be undertaken easier in comparison to game based learning and serious games. This paper suggests how game principles such as Player types can be used to integrate gamification into e - learning.

Creative thinking in particula r is intended to diversify the solution of a problem to suit the current situation. If a student is unable to find an alternative solution, it shows that they have not been able to achieve the higher - order thinking. Creative thinking can be encouraged thro ugh the use of Socratic learning methods with technology approach. The process of questioning by provoking; the Socratic methods can improve students' creative thinking. This paper will describe how creative thinking can be enhanced through the Socratic me thod of learning with technology approach based on analysis of previous studies. Based on the findings of the analysis of these studies; a specific models to enhance creative thinking by using Socratic methods through technology will be produced.

The flipped classroom method enables the provision of reference material for students' out-of... more The flipped classroom method enables the provision of reference material for students' out-of-class learning prior to the in-class teaching and learning process. In this work-in-progress paper, a study is reported that the findings of the study on students' dependency on five entities, namely, peers, Internet, books, exercises and subject teachers, during out-of-class learning in the absence of teachers. The study was conducted on a total of 31 students which focused on Mathematics subject. Results obtained from the study revealed that, the students relied on their peers, initially but turned to the Internet once they had mastered their learning.
