Currently, the determination of a single dose of potassium fertilizer on a tea plant begins with soil and leaf laboratory analysis. The cost of laboratory analysis for testing nutritional content of potassium in a tea plant has always been a challenge for many farmers. the necessity of minimizing the estimate of nutritional content of potassium in tea plants affordably and accurately is the goal of this study. This study aims to estimate the nutrient content of potassium in tea plants using sentinel-2 satellite imagery. The study began by sampling tea leaves and taking satellite images. The data obtained were then correlated with multiple linear regression analysis to create a model. Indonesia is the largest producer and exporter of palm oil in the world. 50% -70% of operational ... more Indonesia is the largest producer and exporter of palm oil in the world. 50% -70% of operational costs and around 25% of total production costs in oil palm plantations are only for fertilizer. The requirements for effective fertilizer management are meeting plant nutrition requirements and preventing nutrient deficiencies. This study aims to estimate the nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium nutrients contained in palm oil trees using multispectral cameras taken with drones. The method used was divided into data preparation and leaf sampling and taking pictures with drones. Second, pre-data processing, the things that are done was photo stitching, georeferencing and digitizing the land and oil palm canopy. Third, the data analysis stage found the correlation between nutrition and image analysis using regression analysis with the backward method. This research has been done as a step in order to study the internal citrus properties that do not damage it. So, the aim of the present study was to investigate the behavior of electrical properties and modeling of citrus fruits including internal resistance and its capacitance changes using nondestructive test. Electrical circuit models have been constructed using series and parallel configurations adopted from literature. The new model has been constructed on the based of the internal structure of citrus fruits. In the specific parameters of the resistor and capacitor which describes the internal condition of fruit, the results of simulations have high compatibility and the best deterministic coefficient is the new model. The research objective was to design a portable, easy-to-handle, real-time PM10 monitor using a particle counter PPD42NS, cyclone separator, vacuum pump, temperature, relative humidity, and air pressure sensors types BMP085 and DHT22. A comparative study of meteorological factors between Vantage Pro 2 and the BMP085 and DHT22 sensors shows a positive linear correlation. The sensor was used to correct the air sample flow rate in the PM10 concentration formulation. The air sample flow rate is stabilized at 0.7 L min−1 so that the cyclone separator can work optimally. The particle size analyzer (PSA) analysis results show that the cyclone separator can separate particles less than ten microns in size at locations with low, medium, and high PM10 conditions. Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) is a method for measuring level of nitrogen (N) in th... more Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) is a method for measuring level of nitrogen (N) in the soil in the form of N-nitrate (NO3) rapidly without going through the process of sieving and drying. The sample soil in the form of pellets subjected to laser pulses using a wavelength of 532 nm, pulse duration 5.5 ns, repetition rate of 10 Hz, and Q-switch delay of 150 μs. Emissions are captured by the spectrometer with the wavelength range of 190-1130 nm. Spectrum characterization was processed through the second derivative in order to obtain a wavelength identity that could be rapidly used to estimate the nitrate content of the soil with a determination coefficient of (R2) 0.9254 and a coefficient of variation (CV) of 8.41%. The results of this study are very potential to be applied for rapid measurement of soil nitrate.

This study aims to discuss the method of identifying and counting oil palm trees using a deep learning system based on the YOLO algorithm to process the images captured by a satellite from Google Earth. The system prototype has been successfully built and tested to recognize oil palm trees and to count them in a case study area IPB-Cargill Oil Palm Education Garden, commonly called IPB-Cargill Oil Palm Teaching Farm, is in Singasari, Jonggol, Bogor West Java.
