The aim for this prospective approach was to study the effectiveness of prophylactic mesh placement in midline laparotomy to prevent chances of incisional hernia.Patients were divided into two groups of 25 each with one undergoing midline laparotomy with mesh placement and the other group with the normal laparotomy. In mesh placed group 1 (4%) patient developed incisional hernia and in group without mesh 6 (24%) patients developed incisional hernia which was statistically signicant.There were no signicant secondary complications like SSI, Seroma, Hematoma in both the groups.

India is the world’s largest democracy with nearly 900 million eligible voters. The election peri... more India is the world’s largest democracy with nearly 900 million eligible voters. The election period in India spans over nearly six weeks for general elections and there is no alternative system working for eligible voters who are at outstations or willing to cast their vote but not able to do so due to location constraints. Moreover, there is no special provision made for NRI voter / overseas elector for whom it is difficult to vote in person at the polling station. Service voters have to use postal ballot and go through a tedious process to cast their vote and this process is also prone to human errors. Our system is an e-Voting system that will use fingerprint and face verification along with a combination of firebase-database and server-side file-system at its back-end. Our system is designed especially for NRI voters and Service voters for whom it is difficult to cast their votes through the existing system. It provides an efficient, convenient, and secure mechanism for voters to cast their votes. The design of this system will make the voting process more convenient and may, therefore, lead to improving the turnout.

Surgical site infections (SSI) are among the most commonly reported Hospital acquired infections (HAI).Methods: This was a prospective observational study conducted in a tertiary care hospital over a period of one year from May 2019 to April 2020. Total 2382 patients who underwent clean and clean contaminated surgeries were included in the study. The data on demographics, type of surgery, duration of surgery, day of SSI event, use of prosthesis, comorbidities, post-operative stay and resuturing was collected and analyzed. From suspected patients of SSI, pus aspirate/swab was sent for culture and susceptibility.Results: Total 2382 clean and clean contaminated surgeries were included in the study. Some of them are differential protection, over excitation Protection, etc. In this Paper Over Voltage protection is established for the protection of the transformer. Microcontroller is used for the Power Transformer Protection as a relay. It will sense the fault Due to over voltage of about +5% and send trip signal to the relay driver circuit and the power transformer will automatically get isolated from the system. The Simulation circuit is designed in Proteus Software and analyzed successfully. The Programming is also done accordingly.
