In the course of these investigations the description of the Nanocyperion flora and vegetation was completed from the area, which has been shaped by human activity (e.g. segetal fields with inland water, meadows, pastures, ponds, wayside pools). This paper presents distribution of 29 Nanocyperion like species of vascular plants in the cartogramme grid system developed by NIKFELD (1971) and adopted for Hungary by KIRÁLY & HORVÁTH (2000). Some of the plants (8) are protected. Alisma gramineum and Scirpus radicans are regionally extinct (RE) species (their last observation are older than 40 years). The risk categories (RE, CR, EN, VU, NT, LC, DD) follow the new IUCN proposal (IUCN 2001). As rarity, population dynamics are scale dependent marks of a species, the IUCN risk categories were considered according to the spatial scale of the Hungarian flora mapping raster grid system (Király 2005) in this...

Herbáriumi, irodalmi és saját terepi kutatásaink eredményeként Magyarországon három tetraploid Asplenium trichomanes agg. taxon biztos előfordulását igazoltuk. Ezek közül a subsp. quadrivalens országszerte elterjedt, közönségesnek mondható. Újrafelfedezésükre 2022-ben, a 2006 óta folyó pécsi városi flóratérképezésnek, illetve a 2022-ben végzett herbáriumi revízióknak köszönhetően került sor. Vizsgálataink alapján e taxonok elkülönítése a füles vállú levélszárnyak aránya alapján is elvégezhető: a subsp. quadri...

In the absence of adequate evidence, the classification of some species was only possible into uncertain, transitional cat- egories. The definitions of most categories are compatible with several international termi- nologies, but are primarily based on Central European traditions. Of the 560 taxa that have already been naturalised in Hungary, 85 are invasive, and 22 of them are transformer alien vascular plants. Only 5 of these transformers are included in the European list of Invasive Alien Species of Union concern (Ailanthus altissima, Asclepias syriaca, Elodea nuttallii, Heracleum mantegazzianum and H. sosnowskyi), which require uniform preventive interventions and treatments throughout the continent, while the rest of transformers in Hu...

The current version covers the species of the region occurring in Hungary (cc. 90% of the region’s flora) and consists of 126,337 records on 2745 taxa. There are 53 plant attributes in PADAPT 1.0 organised in six major groups: (i) Habitus and strategy, (ii) Reproduction, (iii) Kariology, (iv) Distribution and conservation, (v) Ecological indicator values, and (vi) Leaf traits. By including species of the eastern part of Europe not covered by other databases, PADAPT can facilitate studying the flora and vegetation of the eastern part of the continent. Data collection will continue in the future and the PADAPT team welcomes researchers interested in contributing with data. The main task bef...

Gray és a Luzula multiflora Kirsch. egy-egy erőteljes alföldi állománya került elő a Drávamenti-sík peremén, a Vajszló és Páprád közt található Bükkháti-erdő tömbjében, üde erdei tisztáson. A Drávamenti-sík flórájára új, együttélő fajok élőhelyi körülményeit egy cönológiai felvétel szemlélteti.
