It enables information to be stored and exchanged securely and transparently without the need for a centralized authority to regulate it. Some of the primary benefits of this technology are the atomicity of the stored data. Given its features, this technology has the potential to provide answers to challenges encountered in a very sensitive sector, namely, Internet of Vehicles (IoV). In IoV, vehicles and service providers autonomously capture and produce data without human intervention. This exchanged data must meet certain criteria such as decentralization, automation, security, and stakeholder trust management. To overcome these challenges, the integration of blockchain technology and multi-agent systems is a key solution. Based on smart contracts, the proposed solution consists of exploiting role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC) technique...

Internet of Vehicles (IoV), whose basic concepts are like those of the Internet of Things (IoT), ... more Internet of Vehicles (IoV), whose basic concepts are like those of the Internet of Things (IoT), refers to the ability of vehicles to communicate intelligently with each other through the exchange of information. To guarantee the services offered by IoV, it is necessary to consider the exchange of a large amount of information without human intervention and in a decentralized manner. To overcome these challenges, the use of blockchain technology is required. This technology is supported by the concept of smart contracts and implements the notion of decentralized applications (DApp). Our objective is, then, to design a decentralized application that brings together all the services accessible by vehicles. The user, depending on the type of service, can filter the search result and benefit from the appropriate service. Via this paper, we present the basic concepts to be used in the development of our platform such as blockchain, smart contracts, DApp and their relationship with IoV. We model the communication between the different actors of the system as well as the design of the proposed framework.

The link between the IoT and VANET is giving rise to the Internet of Vehicles (10V). With the IoV,vehicles are able to communicate with each other and with other connected objects. To ensure the exchange of information flows between the different entities, autonomy, speed and the decentralized concept must be taken into account. Blockchain technology is a distributed register technology. It is the solution to overcome these challenges and to guarantee vehicular communication. This research work deals primarily with this new technology and its applications in IoV.We then present a multi-agent model of vehicle communication based on Blockchain technology and smart contracts.

We presented an antenna that belongs to the category of UWB antenna with two rejected bands based on square SRR. At first, we presented a UWB antenna. This antenna is designed to operate in the band 2.3–11.5 GHz. Then, with the integration of two SRR cells, we were capable of filtering the bands 3.7–3.9 GHz and 8.7–8.9 GHz without losing the UWB characteristics outside these rejected bands. Next, to ensure the proper performance of the MIMO system, we studied the use of metamaterials in the design of MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) antennas for miniaturization and antenna performance.

We propose here a solar cell antenna with either a front face collection grid or mesh patch. The solar cell antenna of our contribution combines both optical and radiofrequency signals. Thus, we propose two solar cell antenna structures in the frequency bands of future 5G standard respectively in both 2.6 and 3.5 GHz bands. Simulation using the Advanced Design System (ADS) software allows us to analyze and determine the antenna parameters proposed in this work such as the reflection coefficient (S11), gain, directivity and radiated power.

The wave equation and the dispersion relations for guided and evanescent modes in the guide are obtained and analyzed. The higher order modes are exploited. The numerical results are obtained and compared to theoretical predictions. Numerical examples show the validity of this method. Anisotropic metamaterials found important industrial applications such as circulators, isolators, phase shifters and antennas.

We propose an optical rectenna based of solar cell antenna operating at 3.5 GHz for the future 5th generation. This hybrid system solar cell antenna allows energy recovery (DC signal) as well as RF signal for Data Transmission. On the other hand, we have proposed a conversion circuit RF/DC for the unitile RF part. A parametric study has been shown that the efficiency can reach 66.2%.

This MIMO antenna system with the size of 92 × 88   m m 2 consists of two elliptical antennas symmetrically arranged next to each other. Two decoupling methods which are neutralization and Defected Ground Structure (DGS) are applied to ensure diversity of the proposed MIMO antenna. The single and MIMO antennas are simulated and analyzed then fabricated and measured. A good agreement between measurements and simulations is obtained. These configurations, dedicated to covering the 3.4 GHz band -3.8 GHz, have shown very satisfactory performances more than -30 dB in terms of reduction of mutual coupling between the antennas constituting our system. MIMO diversity parameters, such as Envelope Correlation (ECC), Diversity Gain (DG), and total efficiency, are also studied for each proposed MIMO system. Thus, results demonstrate that...

The determined higher-order modes have been analyzed and exploited to the design of filters. Among the particularities of anisotropic material, the backward waves can propagate below the cut-off frequency. The numerical results for TE and TM modes have been compared with theoretical predictions. Good agreements were obtained. We analyzed a periodic structure containing waveguides filled with anisotropic metamaterial using the mode-matching technique. By using modal analysis, our approach reduced considerably the computation time compared to HFSS.

The wave equation and the dispersion relations are obtained and analyzed. The higher order modes are exploited. Among the particularities of this anisotropic material, the backward and forward waves can both propagate below the cutoff frequency in the guide. The numerical results for TEm0 are obtained and compared to theoretical predictions and to those previously published. Numerical examples show the validity of this method. In some cases, it has been found that the propagation constant in a rectangular waveguide metamaterial slab is complex although the media are lossless.
