Potensi limbah pengolahan sagu berupa ampas sagu di daerah Manokwari Provinsi Papua Barat perlu t... more Potensi limbah pengolahan sagu berupa ampas sagu di daerah Manokwari Provinsi Papua Barat perlu terus digali untuk memberikan nilai tambah limbah sekaligus dapat memberikan peningkatan kesejahteraan bagi warga kampung, khususnya peternak lele. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah (1) meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peternak lele tentang pemanfaatan limbah di sekitar yang berpotensi sebagai bahan baku pakan alternatif. Selain itu, (2) mengetahui nilai pertumbuhan panjang mutlak, bobot mutlak dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup ikan lele serta kualitas air kolam uji. Metode dalam pengabdian ini dilakukan melalui kolam uji sebagai percontohan penerapan pakan menggunakan ampas sagu. Selain itu, dilakukan uji kualitas air kolam uji serta pengukuran bobot, panjang dan jumlah ikan hidup untuk mengetahui perkembangan ikan. Research has been carried out on the design of a monitoring system for air quality parameters (te... more Research has been carried out on the design of a monitoring system for air quality parameters (temperature, CO, LPG and dust) whose data is integrated in real time. The measuring instrument uses the Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller base. The MQ-9 and MQ-5 gas sensors are used to measure air pollution, while the LM35 and DSM 501A sensors are used for temperature and dust. This system is also connected with Xbee S2 as a data sender and receiver based on WIFI. The voltage source is connected to a 10 W solar panel which is regulated by the charger controller so that when the battery is full, the battery charging connection will be disconnected. The software used is Arduino IDE 1.8.1 and X-CTU. The data that can be measured by the tool is the level of air pollution of CO and LPG gas, air temperature and PM 2.5 particulates in the air. A study on the quantity and quality of the Kobari Jaya spring in Supiori Regency has been conduct... more A study on the quantity and quality of the Kobari Jaya spring in Supiori Regency has been conducted. Research on the quality test of Kobari Jaya springs has never been conducted. This study uses descriptive methods and laboratory tests and uses a comparative method of test results against the quality standard value based on PERMENKES No. 492 Tahun 2010 tentang Persyaratan Air Minum. The test results show that the average meets quality standards. The instruments used to test water samples include AAS and UVVis spectrophotometer. Several parameters such as pH, COD, BOD, DO, Phosphate, Fecal Coliform and Total Coliform exceed the predetermined quality standard values. The cause of this high parameter occurs naturally. The test results concluded that the Kobari Jaya spring is very suitable to be used as a source of raw water supply in the Kobari Jaya area in particular and the Supiori area in general
Research has been carried out on the H2S gas sensor made of TiO2-Ni/Al2O3 which is connected to a... more Research has been carried out on the H2S gas sensor made of TiO2-Ni/Al2O3 which is connected to an automatic vacuum. The results showed that the optimum conditions for the variation of Ni doping metal levels were 20 mg / gram TiO2. The semiconductor material synthesis method used the sol gel method with TTiP precursor which was made at pH 7. Coating of the sol gel solution on the Al2O3 substrate used a dip coater with a decrease speed of 1 cm / minute and was carried out 7 times of immersion. The characterization of synthetic results used UVVis, XRD, FTIR and SEM-EDX. The band gap value resulting from Ni doping is 2.75 eV from 3.2 eV, XRD identification shows that TiO2 is anataseic and detected at 2θ. FTIR data also supports XRD results with detection of TiO2, Ni-O, NiTiO3, Ti-O-Ni, and Ti-O-Ti groups. TiO2-Ni / Al2O3 sensor test results are very sensitive and selective to H2S gas. This study assessed the ability of plants to absorb Pb and Cd which is influenced by the addition of various metal and NPK fertilizer on the medium containing the test solution. Samples of plants were interacted with NPK fertilizer, Pb and Cd. The variations of NPK 1 mg/L, I,5 mg/L, 2,5 mg/L and 10 mg/L and the variations of Pb (100 mg/L, 400 mg/L and 800 mg/L) and cadmium (50 mg/L, 100 mg/L and 200 mg/L). Optimum pH for growing the Kayambang plants (Salvinia molesta) is a range pH of 6-7. Observations were made every 7 days until the day of 35th, by measuring levels of Cd and Pb after the interaction of plants (roots, non-roots and growing media). Salah satu cara untuk meminimalkan penurunan kualitas minyak goreng adalah dengan menambahkan kulit pisang tanduk (Mussa x paradisiaca). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pengujian dengan menggunakan satu jenis (merek) sampel minyak goreng dan dibagi dalam lima perlakuan: pertama tanpa penambahan apa pun (P-), kedua dengan penambahan 0,1% antioksidan sintesis BHT (P+), ketiga dengan penambahan 1% bubuk kulit pisang tanduk (P1), keempat dengan penambahan 2% bubuk kulit pisang tanduk (P2) dan kelima dengan penambahan 3% bubuk kulit pisang tanduk (P3). Preparasi dilakukan dengan impregnasi logam Mo dan Ni kedalam sampel ZAA menggunakan larutan garam precursor (NH 4 ) 6 Mo 7 O 24 .4H 2 O and Ni(NO 3 ) 2 .6H 2 O. Zinc(II) chloride, as an activating agent and H2O2 as an oxidizing agent, prepared the hydrotherm... more Zinc(II) chloride, as an activating agent and H2O2 as an oxidizing agent, prepared the hydrothermal treatment synthesis of porous carbon (HC). The hydrothermal followed by carbonization and then by oxidation at 350 °C under oxygen stream (HC-Ox). All the products characterized by XRD, FT-IR, amount of oxygenated functional groups (OFGs) obtained by the Boehm method, the total acid amount by NH3 base vapour adsorption, surface area analyzer (SAA) and SEM. The XRD results showed that all of the carbonized samples were amorphous, which characteristic for porous carbonized. The results of FT-IR and Boehm titration revealed that the phenolic group was the highest contributor to OFGs on HC-Ox samples (7.095 meq/g) and carboxylic groups of 2.685 meq/g. The maximum BET surface area was found to be 443.5 (m2/g) for C-Ox and 232.2 (m2/g) for HC-Ox. The SEM image displayed that the morphology of the HC samples was a stacking honeycomb-like structure.

The Merbau wood sawdust was carbonized at 800 °C to produce C800 and the C800 was treated by microwave irradiation (399 W) for 5 min to produce C800MW. The Merbau wood flakes, which were only treated by microwave irradiation (399 Watts) for 30 min produced CMW. Wet impregnation technique was carried out to disperse the Ni metal (1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 wt.%) onto the best mesoporous carbon. The mesoporous carbons were analyzed by Fourier Transform Infra-Red Spectroscopy (FTIR), Surface Area Analyzer (SAA) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The hydrocracking of pyrolyzed α-cellulose was carried out at 400 °C. The liquid product was analyzed by Gas Chromatograph-Mass Spectrometer (GC-MS). Cirrhilabrus cf. ryukyuensis from Cenderawasih Bay and Raja Ampat have different colormorphs with... more Cirrhilabrus cf. ryukyuensis from Cenderawasih Bay and Raja Ampat have different colormorphs with Cirrhilabrus ryukyuensis. This study was conducted to determine the phylogenetic relationship, evolution and genetic diversity of Cirrhilabrus cf. ryukyuensis based on Cytochrome oxidase sub unit 1 (COI) gene. Mitochondrial DNA extracted by using chelex 10%. FISH-BCH and BCL primers were used to amplify COI gene fragment and sequencing. Data analysis conducted by using software Sequencher 4.1 and MEGA 5. COI genes from six samples of C. cf rykyuensis from Cenderawasih Bay and Raja Ampat have total 613 base pairs. The average compositions of nucleotides are T 32.8%, C 26.3%, A 23.2% and G 17.7%. There is six positions of polymorphism that caused by transition. Conversion of nucleotides to amino acid sequence resulted in 204 amino acid with the same sequence. The phylogenetic tree from six sample showed that all in one clade, but different clade from Cirrhilabrus cyanopleura from GenBankA...
