It is precisely the influence of parents at these ages that taken in the study 11,13 and 15 years based on the European study HBSC. A total of 240 children’s were included in the study, as follows: 120 children’s from rural areas (40 children’s 11 years old, 40 children’s 13 years old, 40 children’s 15 years old), and from urban areas the same number. In the contemporary literature of dietetics, it is a well-known fact that eating family together plays a decisive role in modelling healthy behaviours in children where the parent plays the main role. The recommendations show that it would be very valuable in many educational aspects for the family to consume most of the three meals, breakfast and dinner together. The aim of this research is to analyse students´ expectations that have an influence on choosing ... more The aim of this research is to analyse students´ expectations that have an influence on choosing Physical Activity, Recreation and Sport Tourism as an academic major. According to the analysis of this research on the reasons for choosing Fitness, Recreation and Sport Tourism studies at Sports University of Tirana, the conclusions reached show that among multiple factors, the expectations of having collaborative and situated learning experiences are one of the main reasons for choosing these studies, as well as the a lot of job opportunities that this degree offers. Methods and subjects. The final cohort involved in this study was comprised of 320 students, of whom 35.94% were women and 64.06% men. Almost half of the participants (48%) were aged between,18-20 and 39% were aged between, 21-22. Abstract Background and Aim: In all sports, athletes should first build a solid aerobic foundatio... more Abstract Background and Aim: In all sports, athletes should first build a solid aerobic foundation, which provides the mechanisms to recover more rapidly from anaerobic work. Unfortunately, based on our observations of Albanian sport teams who practice sports with variable energy requirements like basketball, aerobic training is largely neglected. The aim of this study is to assess the potential benefits of altitude in general stamina training for non-endurance athletes. Material and Methods: The participants in this study were not enough aerobically fit and reported no previous training at altitude. Their VO2max values were assessed, using the Astrand – Rhyming cycling test, twice i.e. seven days before starting altitude training and two days after completing it. The applied altitude training program comprised living at an altitude of 900 meters and hiking every two days for ten days. The terrain was mostly mountainous and the average walking speed was 0.45 m/s, although hiking rat...

Research dictates that building the critical connection to nature at an early age is vital to the enjoyment of the outdoors later in life. Outdoor recreation and nature tourism, are the big growth areas in leisure and holiday activities today in the world. As the populations of most European countries become more urbanized, and as work becomes less and less connected with the land, many more people are seeking to regain a connection with nature and with wild landscapes. There are many reasons for visiting and exploring the great outdoors: physical exercise, release from the stresses of city life, clean and fresh air, getting closer to nature, enjoyment of the scenery, hunting and fishing etc. For most people it is probably a combination of reasons. The trends in how people spend their time change from year to year, but contain broadly the same ingredients: a chance to escape from the city...
