This allows using the reliability of each component to improve the decision-making step. The purpose of this paper is the improvement of the classical binary method of decision-making, so that it can treat unknown and identical signatures of failures. This approach consists of associating the measured residuals and the components reliability data to build a Hybrid Bayesian Network. This network is used to determine the posterior probabilities of the failures. The developed methodology is applied to a real steam generator pilot process.

In the past years, researches have been conducted for their modeling, control, and diagnosis. The model should accurately reproduce the behavior without being too complex. Due to the highly multiphysical interactions and coupling within the fuel cell, using a graphical representation for developing this model seems well suited. This paper presents a review of recent literature on graphical representation of proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC). Three main graphical representations are discussed: bond graph (BG), EMR, and equivalent electrical circuit. Their fields of application will be shown as well.

An on-line supervision system for the traffic network is performed using the dynamic model, in order to control, monitoring and planning the trajectory for each Transportation vehicle, then to manage the whole traffic network with ensuring the optimal safety and environmental respect. Simulation and Co-simulation using experimental measurements show the interest of the developed model.

The main objective is to improve the robustness of fault detection step in the presence of parametric uncertainties in hybrid models in order to minimize the false alarms. The scientific interest of the proposed method is the use of only one tool – the bond graph not only for dynamic modelling of uncertain hybrid system but also for generation of adaptive thresholds needed in residual evaluation step. For this task, hybrid bond graph uncertain model approach with controlled junctions in linear fractional transformation form (allowing to represent graphically the parametric uncertainties) is first proposed to represent all the modes of the hybrid system. Second, based on causal and structural properties of the hybrid bond graph, analytical redundancy relations (with nominal and uncertain part) valid for all the modes are then derived systematically from the dia...

To overcome this problem, Bayesian approaches offer a considerable efficiency in this context. This paper introduces recent contributions in the field of reliability modeling with the Bayesian network approach. Bayesian reliability models are applied to systems with Weibull distribution of failure. To achieve the formulation of the reliability model, Bayesian estimation of Weibull parameters and the model’s goodness-of-fit are evoked. The advantages of this modelling approach are presented in the case of systems with an unknown reliability structure, those with a common cause of failures and redundant ones. Finally, we raise the issue of the use of BNs in the fault diagnosis area.

Recrea-tion of embryogenic cells from transformation stress in PPT free medium for four weeks improved viability and number of GUS expressing cells. Concentration of 2.5 mg·l -1 PPT yielded highest selection efficiency. Transgenicity of the regenerated grapevine plants was confirmed by histochemical GUS assay and bar specific PCR and RT/PCR. With the described procedure, 20 % of regenerated embryos could be converted into trans-genic grapevines.
