Slots are introduced in a square patch to form this slotted design. This slotted square patch design is introduced to use a single structure for multi band operations. Using Ansoft HFSS software the antenna is modeled, designed and simulated. Transmission line model equation and MATLAB is used to find the design parameters for a rectangular patch antenna. The simulation and modeling of this configuration has been done using Ansoft's HFSS (High Frequency Structure Simulator) software. For TM010 mode, the resonant frequency and dimensions are computed. The antenna parameters such as return loss, radiation patterns and gain have been determined and design is optimized for best results. Network Analyzer is used for experimental results.

It is most commonly used by deaf & dumb people who have hearing or speech problems to communicate among themselves or with normal people. Various sign language systems have been developed by many makers around the world but they are neither flexible nor cost effective for the end users. Hence in this paper introduced software which presents a system prototype that is able to automatically recognize sign language to help deaf and dumb people to communicate more effectively with each other or normal people. Pattern recognition and Gesture recognition are the developing fields of research. Being a significant part in nonverbal communication, hand gestures play a key role in our daily life.

In this paper a novel design of a Slotted Rectangular Microstrip Patch Antenna with perturbation ... more In this paper a novel design of a Slotted Rectangular Microstrip Patch Antenna with perturbation in ground plane is described which increases the interference rejection frequency bandwidth. A comparative study is also shown between two antenna with identical radiating element, one with a perturbed ground plane and another without perturbation. The proposed antenna is designed for operation at both the signal frequencies 1.9 GHz and 2.4 GHz. The results are obtained by modeling and simulation using Ansoft HFSS software tools. The result shows almost 13.5% interference rejection bandwidth at −10dB return loss without ground plane perturbation. Rejection bandwidth increased to 18.2 % with the use of ground plane perturbation in the same patch antenna.

In this paper a comparative analysis is done by using different dielectric substrates and their effect on the antenna performance. It is seen that FR4_epoxy gives the best impedance matching at the design frequency and also produces multi frequency response. The antenna is finally designed using FR4_epoxy as dielectric substrate material and two operating frequency response is achieved at 2 GHz and 2.6 GHz with return loss -21 dB and -23 dB respectively with 5 % and 3.8 % bandwidth each. The antenna is suitable for wireless communication applications.

The antenna dimensions are computed from the cavity model at fundamental frequency 2.1 GHz for TM 110 mode. For better performance of the antenna, coaxia l probe feed technique is used for excitation. Two parallel slots and another orthogonal slot are introduced to a convent ional circular patch which results in dual frequency response, at 2.04 and 2.9 GHz. HFSS modeling and simulation are carri ed out for design optimization and theoretical resu lts. Experimental measurements of S-parameter is carried out using a Vector Network Analyzer for verification of input impedance matching. This antenna is useful for wire l ss communication applications operating in the fr equency range of 2GHz to 3 GHz.

Arduino borad, GPS NEO 6M module, GSM SIM900A, Thermal Camera AMG88833, Ultrasonic Sensors are used to make this system. The system will monitor a crowded place with a drone where the proposed mechanism will be installed. It will detect one potential COVID-19 affected by detecting either high body temperature or sneezing. It will collect and store the data of the suspected individual in it’s database and send it to a registered phone number from nearest health management facility. The proposed system is easy to fabricate and efficient but less costly which makes it suitable for general purpose COVID-19 monitoring system.

The antenna displayed impedance bandwidth for VSWR ≤ 2 is 16 GHz at 170 GHz with a return loss of -35 dB. The antenna is suitable for millimeter wave communication technologies.

This paper describes two techniques which use microstrip line and also coaxial line as feed line for a rectangular patch. The analysis was carried out using ANSOFT High frequency structure simulator (HFSS). By changing the position of the feed point and using inset feed design, the return loss at the feed point was determined at 2.4GHz and the results were compared with those obtained for coaxial line feed from HFSS analysis. It is concluded that coaxial line feed is best of all techniques if bandwidth is not a factor.

These people find difficulties in detecting obstacles near them, while they are out from their home all alone, which is very dangerous to them. This smart Stick comes as a proposed solution to enable them to identify the objects (water, fire, puddles, stairs, etc.). In this paper we propose a solution, represented in a smart Stick with ultrasonic sensors to detect stairs, walls and nearby objects in front of the user, within a maximum range of 3 meters. Moreover, another a water sensor is placed at the bottom of the Stick to detect water and puddles. Infrared fire sensor is attached, so that if the pole (stick) comes near to the fire, it will detect it and will produce a warning buzzer tone.
