Two separable regioisomers were obtained, thus their purification led to determine the proportion of each of them, and their structures were attributed essentially based on 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy in addition to the elemental analysis and MS data. In order to confirm the results obtained at the synthesis level, a computational study was carried out by application of density functional theory (DFT) using the Becke three-parameter hybrid exchange functional and the Lee-Yang-Parr correlation functional (B3LYP).

The method of the study was semi-experimental research design with pre-test and post-test. The study used two groups including the experimental (n = 16) and control (n = 16) groups. The learning outcomes of both groups of students were compared and analysed for significance using the Student’s ttest and the Mann-Whitney U test. The findings showed that the integration of a simulation of relative chronology can have a positive effect on students’ learning if it is properly integrated at an appropriate time during the students’ training.

The cyclization reaction by “click chemistry” was carried out in a water/ethanol solvent mixture (50/50), in the presence of copper sulfate pentahydrate and catalytic sodium ascorbate. The characterization of the structure of the resulting 1,4-regioisomer was performed by 1D and 2D-NMR experiments, infrared spectroscopy, and elemental analysis.

This study was conducted among 181 teachers of life and earth sciences in a large number of establishments (colleges and high schools). This paper focuses on presenting a diagnosis of the reality of the use of ICT in the teaching of the life sciences and earth in secondary school at the national level; identify teachers' perceptions of the real benefits offered by the pedagogical integration of these means in education; and determine, according to the conception of the teachers themselves, the main factors that impede or facilitate the effective and efficient integration of ICT in teaching practice. Phenyltetrazole substituted compounds, namely 5-phenyl-1H-tetrazole (PT), 5-(4chlorophenyl)-1H-te... more Phenyltetrazole substituted compounds, namely 5-phenyl-1H-tetrazole (PT), 5-(4chlorophenyl)-1H-tetrazole (Cl-PT), 5-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1H-tetrazole (MO-PT) and 5-p-tolyl-1H-tetrazole (M-PT) were synthesized to study their inhibition behavior on mild steel in 1 M HCl by weight loss measurement, potentiodynamic polarization studies and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). It has been observed that corrosion rate decreases and inhibition efficiency increases with increasing in phenyltetrazole substituted concentration and dependence on molecular structure. Polarization data indicate that these compounds act as very good cathodic inhibitors of mild steel in 1 M HCl. The result showed that the inhibition efficiency decreased with temperature and increased with immersion time. EIS has the same trend of inhibitive effect as that of the polarization data, which indicates the formation of a protective layer on mild steel surface by molecules adsorption .

We conducted a questionnaire survey with undergraduate and master’s students. The qualitative analysis of the students’ responses made it possible to shed light on the difficulties of assimilation of many notions and also to identify the different misconceptions constructed during their learning courses about plant organisms. The findings indicate that some students are not motivated to take the course on plant classification. This demotivation is reinforced further by students’ perceptions of plant classification, especially that it is not important and not useful for learning other biology specialities. The findings also show that more than half of the students who participated in this study consider plant systematics a difficult subject. For that purpose, a sample chapter of the official science textbook was analysed in detail. The analysis was carried out using a didactic model of the French didactician Coquide, which categorizes teaching objectives into three modes: practical familiarisation, empirical investigation and conceptual construction. Analysis grids were built based on a selection of the three didactical modes’ attributes. These grids were used to identify the presence and the weight of these three didactical modes within the chosen sample chapter. Results reveal that experiments in the high-school scientific curriculum are not presented in a balanced way and rarely implemented according to a didactic logic. The dipolar -1,3 cycloaddition reaction using Click Chemistry was carried out in a solvent water/ethanol mixture in a ratio of 1:1. Copper sulphate pentahydrate and sodium ascorbate are used in the reaction in catalytic amounts. The compound [diethyl [{4-[(1H-benzo[d]imidazol-1-yl)methyl]-1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl}(benzamido) methyl] phosphonate was isolated pure as a white powder, after chromatography on a silica gel column (ethyl acetate/hexane acetate: 1/1). The yield of pure product is 90%, after recrystallization in an ether/hexane mixture. The structure of the -1,4 isomer is attributed to the compound obtained by means of 1D and 2D NMR and based on data from the literature concerning the cycloaddition reaction via Click Chemistry. The key step being the copper-free Huisgen cycloaddition between N-(1,3-diazido-2-(azidomethyl)propan-2-yl)-4-methylbenzenesulfonamide (2) and commercially available dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate. The chemical structure of compound 3 was determined by IR, 1D and 2D NMR experiments, and elemental analysis.

The compound [diethyl [{4-[(1H-benzo[d]imidazol-1-yl)methyl]-1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl}(benzamido) methyl] phosphonate was isolated pure as a white powder, after chromatography on a silica gel column (ethyl acetate/hexane acetate: 1/1). The yield of pure product is 90%, after recrystallization in an ether/hexane mixture. The structure of the -1,4 isomer is attributed to the compound obtained by means of 1D and 2D NMR and based on data from the literature concerning the cycloaddition reaction via Click Chemistry. The structure of compound 2 was characterized for the first time by a single-crystal X-ray structure determination. The compound was further established through NMR spectroscopy (1D and 2D). In the molecular packing, two molecules of 4,4-bis(hydroxymethyl)-2-phenyl-2-oxazoline interact through H-Bonds to define “dimers” in which phenyl groups interact especially using π…π contact.
A new compound tetramethyl 1,1′-(2-[{4,5-bis(methoxycarbonyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl}methyl]-2-[(4... more A new compound tetramethyl 1,1′-(2-[{4,5-bis(methoxycarbonyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl}methyl]-2-[(4-methylphenyl)sulfonamido]propane-1,3-diyl)bis(1H-1,2,3-triazole-4,5-dicarboxylate) (3) was prepared in two steps starting from 2-((4-methylphenyl)sulfonamido)-2-((tosyloxy)methyl)propane-1,3-diylbis(4-methylbenzenesulfonate) (1), with an overall yield of 74%. The key step being the copper-free Huisgen cycloaddition between N-(1,3-diazido-2-(azidomethyl)propan-2-yl)-4-methylbenzenesulfonamide (2) and commercially available dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate. The chemical structure of compound 3 was determined by IR, 1D and 2D NMR experiments, and elemental analysis.
