An original document from the Archive of the Virtuosi al Pantheon and Giorgio Vasari in his Lifes testify that one painting was intended for friar Desiderio di Adiutorio and represented Christ among the Doctors. The payment of this painting was recently confused with that of the Annunciation painted by Venusti for Cardinal Federico Cesi in the Church of the Pace after the Michelangelo's drawing now in New York, Pierpont Morgan Library.

Trinità dei Monti, in the panel painting of the Metropolitan Museum in New York, in the bronzes of the Accademia Museum in Florence, etc. The plaster cast of San Luca was executed by Pier Leone Ghezzi after the bronze formerly in the Fabbrica di San Pietro, now in the Museum of Rimini. The author of this bronze is not Daniele, but one of his followers and partner, perhaps Jacopo del Duca.

It focus the complex web of documented connections that link Venusti with Michelangelo Buonarroti and Sebastiano del Piombo, and the precise role he played in the diffusion of their aesthetic and spiritual ideas. Venusti was not simply a copyist, but a master of colour and a qualified interpreter of Michelangelo and Sebastiano. He became a pillar of the Reform of Art in the Cinquecento, thanks to his role in the diffusion of the ideas of Michelangelo and Victoria Colonna.

She was very close to cardinal Gasparo Contarini and cardinal Reginald Pole. Also she had paintings by Titian and Michelangelo who was one of her best friend. She invested an enormous ammount of money in Venice and her legacy was astonishing. Her poems were very popular and the new holy images invented by Michelangelo for her were diffused all around Europe througouth the "spirituali".
