This research is experimental, with pretest and posttest control designs. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA SMAN 1 Wanasaba East Lombok, while the sample was class XI IPA II as the experimental class and class IPA I as the control class; each class had 31 students, which was in accordance with the sampling technique used, namely purposive sampling. The experimental class uses a project-based learning model assisted by PhET simulations, while the control class uses a conventional learning model. The test instrument used is a description of four items on elasticity. The sample was selected by clauster random sampling and obtained class X-3 as the experiment class using structured inquiry learning model with scientific approach and class X-6 as the control class using expository learning model. Desa ini berada ditempat yang strategis dan mudah dijangkau dari ibu kota kabupaten maupun provinsi, karena berada di tepi Jalan Negara Masbagik dan Mataram. Kendala yang terlihat di Desa Montong Baan adalah kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat tentang kebersihan lingkungan dan pengelolaan sampah, serta disetiap dusun belum tersedia tempat penampungan sampah. Proses sintesis BaM menggunakan metode kopresipitasi dengan variasi konsentrasi substitusi 0,0; 0,1; 0,2; dan 0,3 dengan temperatur kalsinasi 400, 600 dan 800OC. Penelitian ini telah berhasil mensintesis BaM berbentuk serbuk berwarna coklat hingga coklat tua. Hasil terbaik pada penelitian ini adalah sampel dengan konsentrasi substitusi 0,3 dan suhu kalsinasi 800OC.

Berdasarkan skor perolehan pretest, ditemukan bahwa kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal masih sangat rendah . Hal tersebut disebabkan masih kurangnya bimbingan yang dilakukan oleh guru. The carbon was produced using palm shell at 2 different temperatures (450 and 550oC). The cracking of CPO was carried out with and without the active carbon catalyst. The result showed that the use of catalyst increase the conversion of both gas and liquid conversion. The use of higher temperature in the production of active carbon catalyst increased the performance of the catalyst, in particular, for the liquid conversion. The purpose of this study was to determine the physical, mechanical and barrier properties of yam... more The purpose of this study was to determine the physical, mechanical and barrier properties of yam starch edible film. This research used Randomized Block Design (RAK).grouping the cultivar into 2, white and purple water yam. The starch concentration used were 1,33%, 2%, 2,67%, dan 3,33%.The results showed that the two cultivars produced similar properties of edible film. The concentration of water yam starch affected transparency, thickness, water vapour transmision rate (WVTR) and compressive streght of edible film, but did not affect its solubility in water. The starch concentration of 2.67% was found to be the most appropriate concentration which produce edible film with thickness 0.12 to 0.13 mm, transparency 12.42 to 13.24%/mm, solubility 84.36 to 86.60%, water vapor transmission rate 1.16 x10-2 to 1.08 x10-2 g/sec/m2, and compressive strenght 48.10 to 49.35 N/m2Keywords:Edible Film, Water Yam, Cultivars, Starch concentration

Polymer (PVA-CH) films were irradiated with Gamma ray at 12 kGy. Polymer film containing PVA (poly Vinyl Alcohol) and Chloral Hydrate (CH) has been prepared by solution casting technique. The obtained polymer composite layers were irradiated with γ – rays at various doses to investigate the radiation effect on dielectric permittivity in the frequency range of 20 Hz – 1 MHz at room temperatures. The real (ε’) and imaginary (ε”) dielectric constant are found to increase with increase in irradiation dose.

The polymer composite PVA-Chloral Hydrate (CH) were blended separately with 23, 34, 45 and 57% CH. The composite films were prepared by solvent-casting method and each film has been irradiated with g-rays at different doses up to 12 kGy. The electrical properties have been studied using an impedance analyzer of LCR meter in the frequency range from 20 Hz to 1 MHz. The conductivity-dose relation study revealed that increase in conductivity of the irradiated PVA-CH blends with increasing dose up to 12 kGy. The increase in the conductivity with dose is attributed to the increase of ionic carriers in the composites induced by radiation scission of CH molecules and also due to hydrolysis of water.
