On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers shot two young Palestinians in the Hebron governorate, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources stated that several military vehicles invaded the town of ath-Thaheriyya, south of Hebron, stormed and ransacked many homes, before detaining and interrogating numerous Palestinians.
The sources added that the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at Palestinians protesting the invasion and violations, injuring a 25-year-old man with a live round in the leg. Local medics rushed him to a hospital in Hebron city.
In a related incident, a young man was injured by live fire from Israeli forces during their invasion of the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron.
The Israeli forces invaded the refugee camp amidst heavy gunfire, spread across the main roads and around residents’ homes, before storming and ransacking several homes, and posting snipers on rooftops.
Many Palestinians protested the invasion, before the soldiers to fired dozens of live rounds, and gas bombs. A 23-year-old Palestinian was shot in the leg and was subsequently rushed to a hospital in Hebron by local medics.
