Inmoderatum is a one-move, Powered by the Apocalypse game written for the #YourMove game jam, that requires a standard deck of cards to play.

In Inmoderatum you play someone who has had a fleeting glimpse of a hidden truth. Your character will become obsessed with that hidden truth, driven to more and more extreme means to uncover it, and eventually to devote themselves to it.

The obsession your character has with the hidden truth will lead them to sacrifice much in delving into it. , Inmoderatum is about that sacrifice, as well as the weirdness and horror of what they are sacrificing for.

I'm very interested in getting a chance to play this! I love stuff about esoteric knowledge and occult entities and just made a twine game about that concept. I'm gonna try to pull some friends together for it sometime

Thanks! I hadn't read or played In a Wicked Age until you mention it, but yeah, that's exactly the idea. I intentionally made them vague and with double-meanings, so I spent a lot of time on them. If I had enough of a personal art style to make cards myself, I would have made some custom to print off.
