iNsect iNstructions

This is one of my school assignments, but I need to drop it into my blog, so here it is for now. Since the game is intended for exhibition, I set it up to reset the scene if you don't interact for a minute.

这是我的一个学校作业，但是我需要把它投放到我的博客里来，所以就先放在这里了。由于游戏是为了展览准备的，所以我设置了一分钟不交互就重置场景的功能。

运行介绍：

1. 执行iNsect_iNstructions.exe来开启游戏程序
2. 当游戏运行时，按键盘的esc键可以关闭游戏程序
3. 当游戏卡死时，按键盘的alt + f4键强制关闭游戏程序

 

操作方法：

[如果使用英文模式，需要在开启游戏后长按键盘L键，再次长按可返回中文模式]

使用XBOX手柄作为默认操作方式，使用键盘作为次级操作方式。

1. 接入文本：手柄A键或键盘空格、A键
2. 记忆选项：手柄B键或键盘R键、B键
3. 遗忘选项：手柄Y键或键盘F键、Y键
4. 快进选项：手柄X键、摇杆下移或键盘左Shift、下箭头、X键
5. 旋转视角：手柄摇杆左移右移或键盘左箭头和右箭头
6. 切换语言：（长按）手柄菜单键或键盘L键（只能在主界面操作）
7. 重新开始：（长按）手柄窗口键或LB、RB键或键盘R键（只能在非主界面操作）

解释：

这是一个超文本伪游戏，利用超文本接入的方式对神经网络涌现现象进行了艺术性模拟。霍兰德在《涌现》一书中对于这种现象进行了诠释：复杂系统由一系列简单规则而构成。在游戏中，每次接入文本时都会对三维场景产生贡献，三维场景会自动在引擎中进行物理上的迭代，以此来模拟神经网络黑箱中模型的不断变化。由于玩家可以将这些存在贡献能力的文本保存下来反复接入，所以每次游玩时产生的模拟体验皆不相同。

操作说明：A键进入、B键学习、Y键遗忘。

故障排除：一、使用过程中若出现人为故障，属于正常情况。二、切勿与模型交流。三、请做好个人防护。

How to play:

1. Execute "iNsect_iNstructions.exe" to start the game.
2. When the game is running, press ESC on your keyboard to close the game.
3. When the game is stuck, press ALT + F4 to force the game to close.

 

Control:

Interpretation:

This is a hypertext pseudo-game, an artistic simulation of the phenomenon of neural network emergence using hypertext access. In his book Emergence: From Chaos to Order, Holland explains this phenomenon: complex systems are made up of a series of simple rules. In the game, each time text is accessed it contributes to the 3D scene, which is automatically iterated physically in the engine as a way of simulating the constant change of the model in the neural network black box. Since the player can save these texts that contributing capabilities and access them again and again, the resulting simulation experience is different each time they play.
