Tried that, just gives me the CG with "I'd love to but I'll need to come back later" instead of any kind of progression. Tried interacting with the front of the statue instead, too, but nothing happens. Tried going fresh from the start and taking slightly different paths (ie. staying outside for the first night) but still no joy. Would it be worth me trying to reset my game altogether?
Edit; After restarting my PC... seems to be working now, first try I could pick them up. No idea why it wasn't working before.

On Windows, and it seems no matter what I do I cannot find "Paper" anywhere. I've interacted with every pile of paper on the floor, the pile beside the half-head lady, the trash can, the written letter in the bedroom... none of it seems to count as "Paper" that I can use, somehow. Half-face lady has even started insinuating that I need glasses because of how much I'm struggling to find said paper. Maybe I've bugged it somehow?
[Demo] The instructions on this webpage for keyboard/mouse are false (the 1,2,3,4 buttons do nothing), you can't access any kind of debug/cheats, the only hand interaction you can do is gently pet the girl, you can accidentally explode yourself if you dare try to use the de-clothing gun more than once (no matter what you aim it at), but on the other hand you explode to -555 health and if you hold a dildo and spam-left-click you can watch it sail off into the distance like the rocket-ship it always wanted to be.
There's no way I'm paying money for this with such a janky, featureless demo. Shooting ping-pong balls at her to reduce her fear is entertaining however.
