As an ex-teacher, these statements dumbfounds me!

What a waste of time and resources!

I have to say, from my perspective, it isn't fair, because teachers want and ask for the resources to teach all kids and help them along, starting at their level, to help them progress and thrive.

The issue is lack of suppor typically from administration and the superintendents, who typically have no background in education and never stepped foot in a classroom as an educator, ever.

Instead they are business people with accounting and business administration backgrounds, who simply care about the money, and not the people who work directly with the children. It is definitely a top down approach at public schools, most schools really, even Universities.

They never ask us for feedback, and if they do, it's for looks, they never take the actual educators working with your children, into account.

It's a very sad reality here in the U.S. :(

I am sorry you had to experience this.
