The Safari extension offered by Speechify greatly simplifies the process of listening to websites on iOS devices.
Activate the extension
Download Speechify from the App Store.
Launch the Safari browser and proceed to access a website.
Tap on the "aA" icon located to the left of the address bar.
Select the option Manage Extensions.
Activate the Speechify function.
Select the "Done" option.
Tap Always Allow, then Always Allow on Every website.
Tap Sign up or sign in.
Listen with the extension
Open your Safari browser and navigate to the webpage that you would like to read.
Tap the blue play button to begin listening. To fast forward, please scroll down and select the desired starting point for playback.
If the blue play button is not visible, please tap on the arrow located on the right side of your screen. This arrow can be moved to either side.
Tap the person icon to change the voice, or tap on "1.0x" to choose an alternative listening pace.
Tap the bookmark icon to save the content to your library. Any saved items will be automatically added to your library, which can be accessed through the iOS app, Android app or the Web app.
