This was made in 10 days for Velox Fabula 2 Game Jam, with the theme "You shouldn't be here."
Captain Ambrose was one of the most widely known pirates across the seas. His fame comes from his journey through forgotten islands, cursed waters, and a streak of ruthlessness. When his ship is spotted off the coast, it's no surprise the Spanish guard sent it straight to its water graves and set out to find and arrest the man whose caused them so much trouble.
But Matheo finds him, and offers to hide him until he can get him safe passage off the island. For a price, of course. Matheo wants to know about the truth behind the tale of Captain Amborse and the siren he met once, years ago. For such a simple request, the Captain seems reluctant to answer it. But Matheo's sure the Captain will talk. He has to.
Because Matheo shouldn't be on this island, and the story of the siren is the answer as to why.
