By Lemma 2.1, classifying the Novikov algebras with associated Lie algebra equal to g is the same as listing the Aut(g)-orbits on T(g). In order to carry this out we write an element of Aut(g) as an n × n-matrix, with indeterminates as entries that satisfy some polynomial equations.
