I am working on adding half-floats to the struct module for CPython 3.3.

I would like to get support for this into 1.6.0b2 if possible. I realize that that's putting the cart before the horse a little bit, since the change hasn't been formally accepted into CPython yet.

Committed in f9c7bde68655de06546f (master)/c2d904ac59d1756c8fa3 (1.6.x).

I think we should leave this ticket open until the struct module half-float letter has consensus from CPython, and any necessary name change is committed as well.
