This message is to warn you that numpy issues will soon be migrated from Trac to github, and that your github account will be mentioned (via the @ symbol) in one or more of the to-be-imported issues. This could result in a large number of messages being sent to your email address or appearing in your github feed.

There are several ways you may want to deal with this:

  • Disable email notifications in your settings
  • Set up a filter to keep notifications from overwhelming your inbox. A filter that searches for "numpy" and "Trac" and "github" should be sufficient.
  • Ask me to not @-mention your account.

I will post an update to this issue at least a day before the import takes place, as well as a followup when it is complete.

Thank you,
Ray Jones

I believe that is the eventual plan.

are links to other bugs going to be fixed? like numpy/numpy#1177 (comment) points to a number 506, but it's now at numpy/numpy#1104

I missed that rewrite step. I will have to write a fix-up script after the import is done.
