Use the installer, there's no need to do this anymore. Unless you have a pile of V3s and are looking for a specific variant. |

Thanks, but yes, I'm looking for a specific variant (specific Wi-Fi module) from a bunch of v3 cameras, and I can't run the installer or its diagnostics SD image on each camera yet. To be more precise, I'm looking to buy some v3 cameras and first asking sellers for the FCC IDs (since I don't have access to the cameras and can't ask sellers to do anything more complex like flashing the diagnostics SD image to get a log). |

Hello,
Is it possible to tell which Wi-Fi module (and maybe even which SoC) is in a Wyze Cam v3 from the outside by its FCC ID, without running the diagnostic SD card image or disassembling the camera? According to the wiki, a couple of the FCC IDs can have either module. However, the docs dispute that, listing only one possible module and SoC per FCC ID. Which is correct?
