Description:
Currently, we are using Tableau Server Client (Python) to create and update user details via an automated job.

Everything is working fine, but I am unable to update user authentication to OpenID from TSC.

We have an internal issue 17899002 tracking this feature request on that team's backlog.

The issue is related to the new support for Multiple IDPs which hasn't made its way into TSC yet. Until then, the workaround is to use the REST API directly: https://help.tableau.com/current/api/rest_api/en-us/REST/rest_api_ref_users_and_groups.htm#idpConfigurationId
