I'm closing this old issue because it didn't gain any traction and also, because we usually don't document/explain all arguments/options of all methods in the docs. Thanks.

I'm going to reopen this because I think I was wrong. It's true that we don't document method arguments ... but this could be referring to something else. Sorry.

No,it hasn't. Recently, we've documented all encoder options, so I think it makes sense to add normalizer options as well.

Docs on custom normalizer lacks also how to implement it.
It is written how to create a custom normalizer but not how to use it.
