I’d like to propose exploring an integration between Servo and Godot Engine’s RenderingDevice API to create a flexible, embedded web renderer.
The idea is for Servo to handle layout, scripting, and compositing, while Godot manages the actual GPU rendering through its modern, backend-agnostic RenderingDevice abstraction.
Motivation
I’d love to help explore this idea in any way I can. I don’t have much experience with low-level rendering or Servo internals, but I’m happy to answer questions or provide guidance regarding most aspects of Godot.
