Is there any way to either get or set (preferably both) the dimmer calibration settings for a dimmer switch? Some of my devices support min brightness and max brightness adjustments. If so, I'd be able to avoid the Kasa and Tapo apps all together when provisioning my light switches.

Thanks!

If it's controllable using the mobile apps, there is a way, but until now no one has figured out the details. If it's a kasa device, finding out the necessary commands is very straightforward if you can create a packet trace from the communications and use the parse pcap script in the devtools folder of this repository.

There is also another script that can do this for klap transport, but it is not as robust and I have had different levels of success with it depending on python, wireshark etc. versions.
