Profile Export with additional layer information #587
Description
This use-case was discovered during the hera workshop. A new method for exporting profiles should be implemented which considers additional layers and performs highest-quality sampling (but no oversampling) for interpolated points. the implementation technique is not yet clear because of the second requirement. KDTree picking / cutout functionalities need to be reviewed to find an appropriate implementation strategy
