Hi @aadhilkhan24 - I think you are heading down the right route this seems like a permission issue - have you tried What to do Get the Entra ID (service principal) of the published Foundry agent. Hi AI Foundry Community.
I have created a fabric data agent in Fabric and provided the required instruction.
In AI Foundry (New version), I have created an agent and connected the fabric agent as a tool (with the workspace id and artifact id) along with the instructions.
I can ask it questions and it responds correctly on the playground.
When I publish it to Microsoft Teams (spins up an Azure Bot Service), it is able to respond to "hello, how are you", but returns the following error when I ask it questions about my data in fabric:
Response failed with code tool_user_error: Create assistant failed: . If issue persists, please use following identifiers in any support request: ConversationId = 1123, activityId = 123
On AI Foundry, the traces return the following error message:
tool_user_error: Create assistant failed
I am assuming that Teams does not access have to my fabric workspace hence it is returning the above error.
Any idea on how I can get it to connect or what permissions to apply and where to apply it?
