Facing the same issue. We get InternalServerError when trying to deploy a 'Microsoft.CognitiveServices/accounts/projects@2025-06-01' from BICEP, and policy violation when deploying from the portal (there's no interface to turn off public network access

It looks like your tenant has an Azure Policy in place blocking the deployment of PaaS resources with public access enabled. You would need to discuss with your Policy admins regarding this. The 'internal server error' that you're getting from Bicep is most likely the same thing, it's just not a very descriptive error message, unfortunately. For now, you are blocked. The "New" Foundry portal does not yet support private Foundry Accounts. |

The point is that I absolutely need to deploy new foundry with the private network, and this is not the point to discuss with someone. The policy is set intentionally, and won't be changed. I answered to this thread just to highlight that the inability to use new foundry in private networks is a major issue |

I am in the same boat as you. My company does not allow public endpoints. Therefore, we can't fully use the "new" MS Foundry in a real capacity yet. I have been discussing this with Microsoft, and the best they can tell me at this point is its coming "end of January". |

I'm unable to toggle "New Foundry" on because it requires public network access to be enabled. My company, and presumably many others, limit public internet access causing us to be unable to use the "New Foundry". Is it planned to support more configurations like this so we can use the new foundry? If so, when?
