Hi everyone,

We’d like to inform you that we’ll be deprecating the Pontoon GraphQL API on November 5th, 2025.

If you're currently using the GraphQL API, we strongly encourage you to begin transitioning to our new, Django REST Framework-based API, which will soon become the only supported way to interact programmatically with Pontoon.

If you run into any issues while migrating or have questions about the new API, feel free to open a discussion or file an issue. We're here to help!

🔐 Added on July 31, 2025 at 15:25 UTC: We're planning to add support for personal access token authentication soon. While most endpoints are currently unauthenticated, we reserve the right to require authentication for all API calls in the future.

🔐 Added on September 3, 2025 at 07:27 UTC: The Django REST Framework-based API is in beta. While it's stable for general use, its structure may change as we continue development.
