We are getting very close to the release of libvips 8.17, so I thought an issue to track the final few tickboxes would be handy.

  • API freeze
  • make libvips-8.17-rc1
  • build on all secondary platforms

  • update and test downstream projects

  • prepare website updates

  • relax again phew
